Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have said their I Dos!

Before they walked down the aisle, the couple held yet another traditional pre-wedding ceremony which is called ‘Mehendi’.

A Mehendi ceremony is a Hindu wedding rite that typically happens one or two days before the wedding. In a typical Mehendi ceremony, all of the women in the bride and groom’s families, along with close friends, gather together while the bride has elaborate henna designs applied to her hands and feet

The newlyweds shared photos on their Instagram pages from the ceremony with the caption:

One of the most special things our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi.

Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed.

For the ceremony, Priyanka wore a 48-multipanelled organdy sherwani embellished in silk detailing with two organza layered drapes. While Nick wore a pale pistachio green/aqua Banarasi cotton Bakhiya kurta, embellished in embroidery.

Saba…That’s such a mean and xenophobic comment. And so unnecessary for this post. This is about a ceremony celebrating love. Your words are a reflection of your character. Perhaps it’s the company you keep that are just like you. It’s wrong to make derogatory comments targeted at specific groups of people.
Odour has nothing to do with where you’re from. Anyone can smell good or bad. Common sense!

Just wow! The reason Indians may smell like you say is because they eat a lot of spices. That’s a very mean and racist thing to say. I’m sure you would feel bad if someone said such about your tribe while referring to you. Learn to leave some things unsaid.

Keep living in ignorance. Just because the Indians you met before smelled so now all of them smell. Later when people do the same prejudice to you, you will be complaining

Of course, not all Indians but geez a lot of Indians smell awful. It’s not just spices, accumulated morning breathe, sweaty armpits, crusty dusty feet, then excess curry and other bad scent spices. The worst part, they walk around like they are better. They don’t want to improve. When Africans smell, it’s probably due to poverty and ignorance but once they are aware, they put effort into being clean.
      Congrats to this couple.

Such a rude, and unneeded comment. If you’re civilized yourself; you wouldn’t leave such a comment.

Guess what? Indians think Africans smell.
Arabs think Indians and Europeans smell.
      Chinese think Africans smell.
Europeans think Indians and all other races smell.
FACT is WE ALL SMELL. We are animals afterall.
