PM News: Police stop anti-Tinubu Protest | BellaNaija

The Nigeria Police Force invaded the Airport Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, to stop a protest against the All Progressive Congress (APC) national leader, Bola Tinubu.

According to PM News, the uniformed men stormed the hotel where some political activists were holding a rally ahead of the March 9 gubernatorial election.

A few critics of the APC leader, Tinubu, asserted that a win for Babajide Sanwo-Olu translates into a sixth term for the APC chieftain, having influenced the choice of the governor since his tenure ended as the governor of Lagos in 2007.

The group under the name “Orange Movement” gathered at the Oranmiyan Hall of the hotel to strategize on how to stop the APC leader in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
