Netflix & Nickelodeon sign Deal to Bring Back our Childhood
Yup! Netflix and Nickelodeon have entered into a multi-year, according to Techradar, to bring to us cartoons both new and existing.
Netflix announced the deal and revealed that it will stream content based on new and existing Nickelodeon IP.
The New York Times has shared that a “music based” “Spongebob Squarepants” spin off is in the works, focussing on the dreary character Squidward.
The deal is estimated to be worth $200 million, and the show “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is said to be on the horizon.
Here’s hoping even more familiar cartoons from our childhood make a comeback.
