Xirea Apparels makes Major Business Moves as it Launches its State-of-the-art Garment Manufacturing Facility | July 23rd

On July 23rd, 2019, Xirea Apparel™ will be opening doors to various Stake Holders to launch its state of the art Manufacturing Facility located at Trans-amadi Port-Harcourt. The Founder & CEO of XIREA Apparels, Obinna Frederick Eneh is all set to welcome the Special Guests of Honour, Engr. Simbi Wabote FNSE, FIPS, Executive Secretary NCDMB and Walter Peviani , Managing Director Saipem Contracting Nigeria Limited amongst other Executives in different industries.

Xirea Factory Launch event, will also open doors for Contract Manufacturing for its first client – Buphalo, signaling to the world that the Apparel Factory is ready for Contract Manufacturing for the entire spectrum of garments from fashion, Armed forces, sports to corporate work wear.

The facility has an R&D Team and expert management staff with more than 140 years combined experience in garment manufacturing, supply chain optimization and sourcing from 3 continents.

The factory has a fully automated design and pattern making process with Real time monitoring of orders placed and technology solutions to help clients develop knowledge base around their order through data acquisition. With Strict Quality Control, the certified factory offers client’s savings from local production with tremendous stock holding capacity.

Xirea Apparel was created to serve independent apparel brands, large organizations , Armed force, Oil and Gas companies, Uniforms and e-commerce retailers with their sourcing and garment production requirements.

At Xirea Apparels, the whole supply chain process from designing, creating tech packs, sourcing for fabrics and trims, creating samples, bulk apparel production, packaging, quality control assessments to arranging delivery of the products is undertaken seamlessly.

Obinna Eneh – CEO Xirea Apparel

Obinna Frederick Eneh, the Chief Executive of Xirea Apparels and Buphalo Active Gear is a serial entrepreneur with interests in Energy services, Infrastructure and hospitality.
Obinna holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Nigeria, a master’s degree in Applied Computer Science from Illinois State University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Obinna is passionate about Africa; training and empowering people across the continent particularly Nigeria where he has a vision to employ at least 50,000 Nigerians by 2030.

Engr. Simbi Wabote – Executive Secretary Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB)

Engr. Simbi K. Wabote FNSE, FIPS is the Executive Secretary Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). Prior to his appointment he was an Executive Director of Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) Nigeria Limited and General Manager Business and Government Relations for Shell Companies in Nigeria (SCiN). Engr. Wabote holds an MSc from Leeds Metropolitan University and is a Graduate of Civil Engineering from Rivers State University of Science and Technology Port Harcourt as well as a graduate of INSEAD Group Leadership Program. He has very sound technical and business competencies with proficient skills in Engineering, Project Management, Local Content Strategic Development, Human Capacity Building, Government Relations, and Stakeholders Management.

Walter Peviani – Managing Director, Saipem Contracting Nigeria Limited

Walter Peviani, Managing Director of Saipem Contracting Nigeria Limited with over 15 years career experience in the Oil and Gas Industry has held several management assignments in the Commercial field, both in the headquarters as well as overseas. Following his initial experience in Italy as Refining Process Engineer and Proposal Manager, he led the Commercial Department of Saipem Contracting Nigeria Limited from 2009 to 2013, being one of the most successful periods of Saipem history in Nigeria.

Upon his return to Milan headquarters, Peviani managed the Commercial activities of Onshore E&C Division of which he stewarded all the activities related to the acquisition of new projects worldwide, ensuring the development of sales strategy for suitable projects that added significant value through different products to the company, starting from refining in 2013, which transited into the development of managing the whole Downstream Business Lines, and ended most recently in 2019 where he took charge of Upstream Commercial.

Peviani has a track record of strong leadership, strategic thinking, negotiating skills, sales strategy, un-wavering commitment to customer satisfaction and relentless focus on competitiveness, paired with an intimate knowledge of the Nigerian market and environment. He is passionate about Nigerian Content Development across Saipem’s Operations .

Walter Peviani has a degree in Chemical Engineering and graduated from Politecnico Di Milano, Italy

Federica Placidi – Head of Procurement Saipem Contracting Nigeria Limited

Federica is an Engineer with a Business Degree from Italy and Hong Kong Respectively. She has over 12 years of supply chain experience in Italy, China, UAE and Africa. She is the Africa Region Procurement Manager for Saipem Contracting and also acting as onshore procurement Countries Coordinator.

Federica ensures Local Content Compliance and has actively encouraged the development of the Buphalo safety Brand as value add for the Oil Industry in Nigeria.

Francis Anyakwo

Francis Anyakwo is the Founder and CEO of Prime Sources Limited an Engineering, Procurement, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance Company focused on the Oil and Gas sector in Nigeria. He is an Engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the Oil Industry with experience working for all the major multinational Oil Companies and NNPC.

He is passionate about encouraging indigenous companies achieve their full potential. Primes Sources Limited awarded the Second Largest order of Safety Products to Buphalo Safety and was subsequently contracted to Xirea Apparel. These contract awards ensured business continuity till date.
