The Look: Purple Teaser

We are back with the look and we are mixing things up. Once in a while, we’ll take things a step further and tell let you know how you can get the look!!
Ijeoma Chiori looks every bit the product of the right mixtures in this outfit; a classic tea dress fashionable combined with a splash of colour.

As with Ijeoma’s, these pieces capture the beauty of contrasting colours. The Tea dress captures most of the accents in Ijeoma’s; the floaty chiffon fabric of her dress, the cut at the waist and the button detail on the top half of the dress. Although not an oversized clutch, this quilted shoulder bag will fit perfectly in the execution of this look!

Thanks to TSN i have learnt how to combine loads of stuff….Purple nd yellow though is BOLD sha ah ah.But it suits her anyway.
I have come to conclude anyway that sometimes the person’s body on which these combinations sit also matter.Take a cue from jenifa (the movie) no matter how those girls combined it still turned out RAZZZ and some ok. No matter how well they combined and how expensive that razzle dazzle thingy was still in the air.te he he.

I am maid of honour at my friends wedding in may.The theme colour is purple and i am so excited cause its one of my favotirte colours.Now my cahllenge is how do i come out with a smashing outfit.I have always wanted purple satin shoes and i had ordered for a pair last month before i even found out that the theme colour for the may wedding was purple(saves me a lot of stress).I need help on what colour(dress) i should wear. I am thinking pink or lilac but then its expected.I want some colour thats off but still fits my purple shoes.

a dress with a metallic undertone wont be a bad idea…like silver, grey also wont be a bad idea but a light shade not one tending towards ash…
yellow…jus that it’ll seem al lil too loud for a wedding…
brown… wont be bad too…think dairy milk choc..

there are so many nice brights(pink,yellow,turquoise,green et cetera) that will go with ur purple shoes but since its a wedding you may not want to be too loud as mimz pointed out…but maybe if the fabric is not too shiny you can get away with a bright colored dress
Thanks mimz….i actually just got this lovely grey strapless dress.Really cute …have been thinking of wearing it instead of wasting so much buying a totally new dress. Just wanted some expert advice so i don’t become the unlucky pose on some mag when fashion police stalks looking for worst dressed people.would totally rock it then with my puple shoes.
