Banky W – Strong Ting
Banky W – Lagos Party

banky is cute
I Love This Song oooooo!!!
I love both songs, I’m very picky esp when it comes to naija artistes but they both had really nice beats and the vocals were on point. Personally, his best so far.
I think they are both really great songs, I tend to be picky especially when it comes to nigerian artistes but I absolutely love these songs, great vocals and catchy tunes. Personally, my best from him so far.
Cool!!!…I love “strong ting”.. but he needs to shave that weird looking beard…hehehe
anything banky has to offer is beautiful…. God, i love this guy!!
not feel strong thing at all!
Iyome, pls listen to the song over and over again you’ll surely love it…I cant stop playing it!
Beat’s are not original…but the song is nice.
As a matter of urgency. Lol!
I very strongly concur- the bia-bia has got to go.
How? Especially “Strong Ting”. I think that beat is brilliant and an extra bonus is that it was produced by Cobhams.
I love the songs, both of them, and Banky is so cute!
not too bad actually…
love banky!!!
…so sick! EKO O NI BAJE !!!
Sweeeet….new naija summer jams…
why does he always wear the hat? I really don’t get that bit.
i loveeeeeeeeeee strong thing… its really different and creative
Banky’s coming into his own….fantastic stuff love the catchy hook ” ain’t no party like a Lagos party”!!!!!
Banky dey sing oooo. I dey gbadun this one for shizzi.
“Aint no party like a Lagos party because a Lagos party rarely exists”. I always wondered how often the electricity goes out at nightclubs in Lagos. Nightlife is not to big there because its too dangerous after 6 pm to be out. Reality is that most of Lagos is like a zoo and is way too overwhelming- and unless your family has money to live in nice places like V.I., you will most likely be miserable. Banky W, be yourself and stop stealing American beats and lyrics because they make no sense. Perhaps you can create authentic African beats and lyrics.
omg!!! i love u banky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! u r really doin me strong thing rite nw.
i think it the same reason Pink use to walk around with her hair pink or the way Neyo wears them hats most of the time or the way aliyah kept her hair parted.
Its their ‘thing’, something to do with a signature look……
the reality of living in Lagos is different for everyone depending on where you live, how much money you spend on a daily basis, your circle of friends and if you have to play mini-manny-mo to decide which of the 7 cars you’ll be taking out that night!
so he ain’t being unrealistic I just think he’s got a different reality!
and i dont think western songs include any yoruba in their lyrics…..not sure tho…..
of the chains..i love dis song
Authentic African beats and lyrics? there is a reason Banky’s style of music is called R&B and Hip hop and not fuji or juju. Besides his making good money from it already so does it really matter if he is talking reality, if it has a catchy tune and good arrangement he sells, we buy it, he makes dough, everyone’s happy.
loooooooove strong thing! since i heard it, i havn’t been able to get the tune out of my head!
ur comment just displays ignorance, u obviously hv little knowledge about lagos & wat little knowledge u hv wasn’t gotten 1st hand…. nonsense…
