“Every woman is looking for that one thing which is a true reflection of how she feels inside. The brands we are launching in Nigeria whisper the secrets of how to get that inner glow on the outside for you and everyone else to see. In particular, we have focused on getting brands that will work well in the fabulous Nigerian weather.

“real Remy hair” err, false assertion! what is all this palaver. Products used by Oprah et al? abeg, a good moisturiser and a good powder (Thank God for Mac) and you’re good to go. But I guess there will always be those who have more money than sense and buy this tosh!

Hello ladies,
My name is Yole Jones and I am the PR director of Blush Nigeria.
Thanks very much for the feedback and believe me we are very interested in stocking Nigerian made products as well. Please look out for our ‘beauty made in nigeria’ competition next year. We will be encouraging nigerian women to share their homegrown beauty secrets with a view to turning them into products for Blush alongside the others we stock.

Please continue to share your thoughts with us.

Thanks

Yole x

hmm….now who will be able to afford all this stuff? Im not bashing…but how about some homegrown skin care solutions? Our skin care remedies/products just need to be refined and well marketed. Things dont always have to be expensive for them to work, or exotic for them to be a la mode. Im not bashing entrepreneurship, but I’d like to see something that doesnt always make us to seem like we are trying to be like the western world ALL THE TIME

I completely agree with you…. Nigeria has been blessed with such amazing natural products, that people over here in the Uk are climbing themselves to find and buy. For example Shea butter coconut oil jojoba oil…can be found in Naija..but if you want them here erhhn….In short your limbs may fall off before you can find them, then the price will now make you faint lol.
As far as I’m concerned Nigerian women already have natural products to aid great skin and hair care, like you said they just need to be presented and marketed well.
