Waje‘s debut album is set to be a scorcher if the singles are anything to go by.
Her last video, “For A Minute” just received several nominations for the South-South Music Awards and her song “Kolo” is still getting major airplay.
Waje is also working hard to develop her brand, she has signed a deal with Veronica Ebie-Odeka‘s image consultancy – Vane Style and has released branded personalized Blackberry themes.

She is definitely “So Inspired” and that is the title of her new single which features rapper Muna and was produced by E Kelly.
The song is an up-tempo track with uplifting lyrics. According to Waje, “It was recorded when we were both feeling a little depressed and then Muna wrote most of it. I was inspired immediately because I feel we represent a generation of young women who will fight for our dream and work twice as hard to be heard and for people to appreciate our God given talent“.

emm muna, i dont understand your rap? u trying too hard girrl, relax and take ur time and create your own imagine and how u want people to think of u and look at u, cos u gat me confused. eva has somn going on and she sounds like M.I which is cool, it just mean they are both intelligent rappers and lyricist. but i dont know what u keep sayin. …

(abeg no be the same one o!)

I like the song generally , though with some reservations (the song started like Omawumi, Muna my namey seems to me to rap like Ruggedman). But I love Waje’s voice and music and admire that she’s developing herself into a brand!

Muna, i’m your fan and i’ve always loved your rap, but this one, i’m not feeling. It just doesn’t sound too right. It sounds like you hurried through it, etc. Hope you guys have listening parties for people to critique your songs before its release.

Wish you all the BEST “body of a goddess, mind of a hustler!”

munachi raps? okay now, she needs to make us give her that respect as a rapper because…I like her voice! She needs to create an image. Maybe she is going for the pretty, sissy but tough and gangster image, I dont know sha but kudos cause I’m feeling her voice and flow; she has got ryhm and rythm

nice song. muna wasnt bad @ all in her rap. she is yet to be excellent in flow buh she is gettin there gradually. its way harder to rap than sing. as for image, as long as ur delivery is tight i culdnt care less wot ur image is. waje, nice job.
