Mango‘s spring collection, Modernist Resort is in Nigeria one full month before Europe and the UK!
Blocks of colour in bright lemon and green mint tones add an optimistic air, while watermelon pink and various nude and tan tones give the collection a utilitarian luxe look.

Bella i think you should define your blog as a 100% fashion blog rather than a lifestyle blog – because clearly u dont anything better to post daily than on fashion and you and i clearly know – lifestyle is not just fashion. Go back to the drawing board cos clearly you are slowly slacking. there are many better up to date african fashion blogs out there, when i come in here id like to read something else other than fashion or music. Na Wah for you ohh.
Wowzer!! That’s deep… but I agree. A more subtle approach next time perhaps?

Mango I am now happy about you!!!!
These are cute and everything, but I saw the MNG collection that Mango designed for Target, and I want that in Naij too…There are more dresses in that collection and since they’re for Target, you know they’re more affordable and still stylish. We want that, Mango! Where’s it at?
Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!! they are getting hotter . I know the lady behind all this ..quite laid back and works real hard. I am proud of Mango and young Nigerians who make things happen. Also looks like they are ready for Naija this time.
Hey everyone, the new MANGO collection is so very trendy and stylish. I have seen them, they’r alot more than you’r seeing on this site. And guess what? there are plus sizes too!! am sooo excited.
So Mango does not see fit to employ Nigerian models in its advertising campaigns in Nigeria but it has NO PROBLEM collecting Nigerian money to enrich itself?
What is wrong with this company and more importantly what is wrong with Nigerians. Stop allowing foreign companies to use you blindly. The LEAST they could do was use Nigerian models in their campaign. The very least.
So you want a brand that caters to a largely European (mostly Caucasian) audience with over 200 locations in over 60 countries to use a good portion of their marketing budget and redo an advertisement with “black” models to make the 6 or 7 stores (that don’t contribute more than 2% in revenue) happy?
That’s not a good business decision.
Nigerian models for their Nigerian branch. i don’t think its a bad idea. after all, Nigerians patronize Mango like crazy, and its ALWAYS on this website, so why not?
Mango does not do special campaigns for their Asian, American or Middle Eastern market as far as I know so why should Nigeria with a measly two locations be treated any differently? I’d like to hear the BUSINESS sense in that. besides part of the appeal of Mango in Nigeria is that it is “foreign”.
do they have a Nigerian spokesmodel for their branch in Nigeria? abeg, what is this Johansen thing?
**johansson
Penelope Cruz and her sister are doing a very good job with this MNG concept.
Haba..pls dont jazz things up too much, these pieces are already in the UK stores long ago, I should know and I just came back from naija last wk while I was there I checked ou their store in Palms and had no close match as in stock compared to the one in St Pauls @ one exchange.
very true. the collections at the palms arent 10% close to wots in the UK stores. Abeg jor, If mango wants to do something, they shld do it well. why shld we be the last people to see wots new!
Oya o…ona wey don travel welldone. we know say ona even know the mango owner for Spain. Make una just shut up make we see road. I dey happy with my bag wey i buy on saturday.
