‘HeartBreak Getaway’ – A Fashion Story Depicting A Wounded Heart & Its Need to Escape
Posted on Monday, August 8th, 2011 at 11:45 AMBy Ijeoma Ndekwu
Fashion is a medium of expression. This suggests that there is always a story being told. Sometimes we are given the freedom to find the story within the narrative and sometimes we are told the story so that we can identify with it. ‘HeartBreak Getaway’ employs fashion to tell a story we all are familiar with.
“Shot in classic Black and White pictures, we portray a story of a heartbroken woman who opts for a quick getaway in a hotel. The model oozes sensuousness and beauty, wearing luxe pieces by Moofa. The Moofa label is known for its dramatic, gorgeously constructed pieces ,combining African and European elements. Heartbreak serves as an inspiration for this shoot as it is synonymous with human beings“

like. am i really the first??
No, you are soo not!!
There is something deep, surreal about this collection. Its one that speaks to you, it almost makes you embrace heartbreak especially if you can look as fab as the chick in this, compensating for loneliness… i love it and the third dress with the different fabrics is belle to say the least, accentuating her frame and colors…..
errr ok, if you say so..

Loves it, loves it! Job well done. Model, photography & styling all on point.
Explanation not needed, the pictures definitely tell d story.
It seems like the “it” profession in Nigeria is now fashion designer or stylist, with a line and a fashion, this is getting to be ridiculous as everyone can’t be a fashion designer, the dresses are nothing new and some of the concept or fashion shoot, styling and stories just seems tacky!!! enough is enough
-my two cents
thank you
