BN readers have requested details on Kim Kardashian‘s wedding to NBA Star Kris Humphries via social networking sites including twitter and facebook.
The official rights to wedding photos and videos have been secured by People Magazine and E! Networks respectively.
However, we have all the scoop and screen captures from the brief video released by E!.
The Dress(es)
According to People Magazine online, Kim “donned an ivory custom-designed Vera Wang gown with full tulle skirt, basque waist and hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué on the bodice and train.”
She changed twice during her wedding (a total of 3 dresses), Kim’s second dress was a “Georgette mermaid gown with hand-pieced Chantilly lace appliqué on the bodice and a skirt with hand-cut organza petals intermixed with Chantilly lace motifs and organza sprig embroidery.” Her final look of the night was “a bias-cut crepe back satin gown with V-neck and circle skirt.”
All of Kim Kardashian’s wedding dresses were by Vera Wang.
Kim completed her look with a jewelled headpiece.

A made-to-measure white peak lapel tuxedo jacket, black tuxedo pants with white tuxedo shirt and white bow tie – all by Ermenegildo Zegna.

Kim walked down the aisle with her step-father Bruce Jenner with classical music playing in the background.

To me Kim looked ordinary because she has done all the over-the-top looks in this world already. so we’ve basically seen it all. and she looked really fat, she shud have done the lace thing and covered up…I can see ara-mkpa abu (armpit breasts) hanging from her strapless gown….and Oh I would have been happier if it was Reggie bush that was the groom. Firstly the rate of divorce overseas is just as bad as the number of unhappy marriages in nigeria. D diff is just that unlike our insecure, intimidated, self-loathing women here, they are strong and determined enough to walk away. Staying in an unhappy marriage is a disservice to the woman, her family and ultimately her kids if any. Ok, now I’m deviating.
My adorable kim K is a celebrity in her own right. Y??? Cos as untalented as she is, we are “interested” in anything and everything that concerns her. Its called reality TV people! Her 1st marriage ended cos she was too young, and she did try to make it work but he was abusing her and her father had to wade in. I do wish it was reggie bush as well but from the length of time she spent with him, its obvious she is committed and can make a marriage last. She’s getting older, she was with reggie in her prime so twas work work work. Now even she knows its time to slow down so its defintely the best time for marriage.

I really agree with your comment. They keep talking about divorce but how many of our parents still share a bedroom? How many of “us” still feel the same way about “our” husbands/boyfriends? I love weddings… they are always very beautiful and nice.. that day is going to come and go and what happens is the marriage..
