On Thursday 3rd May 2012, the ever gorgeous Nigerian screen goddess – Genevieve Nnaji clocked 33. Friends and well wishers in the entertainment industry gathered at Sip Lounge, Victoria Island, Lagos to throw the starlet a fabulous surprise party.
Genny who had no idea of the party, walked into the lounge with her close friend/manager and all attendees including Lynxxx, M.I., Brymo, Rukky Sanda, Uti Nwachukwu, Eku Edewor and a host of others shouted surprise. The very happy actress who shed some tears of joy greeted everyone and immediately joined the party groove.

So much talk bout genny’s outfit. Surprise or not she is underdressed. She knew she was going to sip bar, at nite, on your bday, party or not I’d expect that she at least try to look special, not for anyone but herself. If you’re going to a bar on a normal day, you don’t dress so dowdy, more so on your bday.
If all her friends were at the venue already, there’s no way she wouldn’t suspect a surprise was in the works, or did she feel they’d all abandoned her on her bday?
Lastly, the organiser(s) could very easily have whipped up something fab from her closet(I take it they would be that close) and she could easily have slipped into something more befitting.
Personally I treat myself on my bday, definitely get a new outfit even if I wear it and sit in my house. If youu’re dressed like this on your birthday then some anti-depressants should be recommended.
Fabulous party I must say, classy, fine lagos socialites, rukky sanda probably missed road cos she just does not fit in the mix. Are those pants not primani £12 I happen to have in all colours(lol), and the cropped top, lordy lordy lordy. Rita idehen should start to dress her age biko.
