    whats wrong with uk universities?

  • ify September 20, 2012 at 3:00 am

with the recent ruling in the UK after you finish school, you are no longer granted a post study work visa i.e a two year visa that allows you to stay in the country and look for a job after graduation. However, before your visa expires if you get a company (not any company) that can pay you a minimum of £20,000 salary a year you can apply for a visa extension. I have just finished my Masters in the UK and awaiting graduation before i am shipped back to Nigeria, so my dear think about it.

welll @ify, u already got d opportunity to study in the UK, please don’t discourage others, the post study visa is for people to work after study but i believe the priority here is to get good quality education and if you can afford it, yes study in the UK. you might not appreciate what you have now sha till later in the future. to be shipped back to Nigeria will definitely give u more edge over others….even though to work will give u some penny to come back home with, all the same, nothing lost rather exposure gained plus experience even if you do not get a post study visa to work…..trust me, schooling in the Uk is still a plus
