21-year old British Nigerian rising Pop star, Lola Rae, finally unveils the long-awaited music video for her Afrobeats club banger “Watch My Ting Go”.
The video is a vibrant celebration of dance and fashion. It also features cameos from Iyanya, Emma Nyra and popular UK-based comedian Don’t Jealous Me (Tolu Ogunmefun) with a sassy dance routine from the C.E.O. dancers.

The girl put out a quality song and video that is different from whats already out. Do we want to keep listening to the same types of music and sound? Hell nah. This is something different. She aint trying to be like Tiwa, she’s being LOLA RAE. And who gives a flip if her roots are ghanaian, she said in an interview she was born and raised in Nigeria for 16 years, so she identifies herself as a Nigerian. People need to get off looking at stick skinny people and calling anyone with a real shape “Fat” or “pregnant”. This is a beautiful, curvy woman who is doing the damn thing that alot of us cant even do. For your information, it was an AMERICAN lady who even introduced me to this song, not to talk of all the cameos she has supporting her in the video, so she’s breaking barriers already. Her dress is too tight for someone who doesn’t have a flat stomach. As for the song I like it, very catchy and could do very well with the right promotion.

She isn’t any competition for Tiwa savage. She is just prettier in my opinion. There was too much energy in the video, i wish i could tell her to calm down a little bit. She needs to work on her voice (too much auto tune) and her lyrics. I was very impressed when i first heard kele kele but wasn’t too impressed by this. The perfect blend would be Tiwa-Lola. tiwa savage just the way she is, but with Lola’s face perhaps?
I am not the fittest in this world, but if i was going to be in a music video, id at least dress to suit my body. She should work on that too. Once again, she is very pretty so we thank God for that. her face would keep her somewhat relevant. no? *ahem*
I agree with you ‘Sigh’… I can’t see any competition for Tiwa here, they are two completely different artists, also this girl is part Ghanaian AND part white….is everyone getting excited about this average song because she’s lightskin?! I recall other new female artists such as Sheyi, Niyola and Emma Nyra releasing songs way better than this song but I don’t remember them getting so much love…or people defending there use of autotune OR the fact that they have a big stomach and are out of shape, OR the fact that they are blatantly LYING about there ages! The video is average but a very good introduction for a new artist. She tried, not sure about her styling, they made her look waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay older than the 21 years she is claiming to be… *side eye*

Nigerians are our own personal hell. Rachel IS 21, if the make up make up made her look older, that’s fine. This is her first video, her first work in the industry and it is pretty good in my opinion. There is always room for improvement, it only gets better from here. Let’s stop bringing people down with the bitter comments on here. It’s getting rather old. As for her body, there’s nothing wrong with it either. Chill out
The song and video are nice, would like to see less of the Beyonce impersonation with the wind machine, vegas clothing and facial beyonce-eque facial expressions!,..and her tummy is a bit big but that’s nothing a good pair of spans can’t fix

Erm…she was singing a bit of key and out of tune…..sounds like shes made huge improvements in her voice, im sure she was nervous so maybe thats why it wasnt that great.
