Super Eagles of Nigeria Through to the Quarter Finals at AFCON 2013

After the first two disappointing matches at the ongoing African Cup of Nations in South Africa, the Super Eagles of Nigeria today won the match against Ethiopia to clinch a spot in the Quarter Finals.
Two late penalties from Chelsea striker, Victor Moses put Nigeria into the quarter-finals with a 2-0 win over the Ethiopian side. In another game in Group C, Burkina Faso played a goalless draw against the defending champions, Zambia. This made Zambia crash out of the tournament as Nigeria and Burkina Faso moved on to the quarter finals.
Nigeria needed nothing but a win to advance to the next stage and they got just that. The match put a lot of people in jublilation mood across the country.
What about you? Are you happy with the outcome of the match against Ethiopia? What are your expectations from the team as they proceed to the next stage in the tournament?

Happy for the flying eagles, guess am the first! yayy!
They happly qualified but, Nigeria is still yet to get a squad that represents Nigeria for its name and placement in soccer in the world. We have players, money but we still do not hav the intergrity to search for good players in school and street of nigeria.

This is one of the simple reasons why many people have high blood pressure in Nigeria, we always wait for the last minute to do what we ought to have done… Watch on Sunday they will let us down, they are used to raising home and dashing that hope away
