Glitz Africa Fashion Week 2013: House of Nwocha presents the “White Rose”

Glitz Africa Fashion Week 2013 House of Nwocha - BellaNaija - November2013020It’s Day 2 of the fabulous Glitz Africa Fashion Week 2013 that is currently going on in the fashion capital of Ghana, Accra. So far we have been taking a look at the designs showcased at Day1 which include designs from Mai Atafo Inspired, Deborah Vanessa, Sarah Christian, Msimps, ElikemN’Kya Designs, Kolture Apparel, Modella B, Black Pepper, Ajepomaa Designs, Mo Creations, Poqua Puqu and SHE by Bena.

Now, let’s sink our teeth into the fabulous collections from Day 2 featuring collections from House of Nwocha, Diana Magesa, Ohemaa, House of Eccentric, April Rust, Zizi Cardow, Christie Brown, John Nklu, Pistis, Aya Morrison, Royal Dennis, Chocolate Clothing and much more.

First up, let’s check out the Spring/Summer 2014 collection from House of Nwocha.

Showcasing their “White Rose” collection, the label introduced a showcase that seemed to be divided into 3 parts. The first set comprised of a set of floral themed dresses and various womenswear pieces that gave off a petite and feminine vibe. Secondly they presented a set of graphic prints in blue, white and orange pull-overs, tops and dresses. Thirdly the runway was hit with tops and dresses in plaid print fabrics.

From the monochrome lush floral print to the burgundy and white floral print, this collection is all about having fun in the sun in floral and striped prints.

I love the collection and the floral dresses are totally cute. Check them out and let us know what you think.

So disappointed dear, had high expectation from you. Its not the style that is the problem with the collection. The clothes looks poorly finished and un-ironed making it appear tacky.

I must be seeing something different from you all (or my fashion sense has simply not reached that heightened state you all have managed to achieve) because I LOVE every piece! in other news, did anyone else laugh when they saw model 3′s face? loool.
