#HeinekenLFDW2015 – Day 3: Fashion Focus – Wuman, Nuraniya, Red Knight & Deji

The 3rd batch of the Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week British Council Fashion Focus is here and the competition is ‘really getting tougher.

Last night, fashion labels – Wuman, Nuraniya, Red Knight & Deji showed their capsule collections, in the hopes of wowing the guests and judges, and claiming the Fashion Focus winning title.

Wuman
This is one of the best collections of the night. The Wuman fashion designer presented glistening, evening gowns, shift dresses and more for his fashion week debut. His pieces were very strong and he showed he’s a face and name to note.

Nuraniya
This is a brand that has garnered some celebrity following, from Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde & Dabota Lawson to Toke Makinwa & Bolanle Olukanni. For Nuraniyia’s fashion week debut, they presented a cool collection. The pieces featured cut-outs, mesh inserts, double slit hemlines and more, plus we love the fact that models rocked leather gloves and cool shades.

Red Knight
Sat hello to menswear with a twist. Red Knight’s collection was an eclectic mix of pieces – from blazers in leather and sequins, to tuxedos in bold hues and print trousers and shirts.

Any man who rocks these pieces will definitely stand out.

Deji
Another menswear designer we liked was Deji. His pieces had a more traditional undertone, mixed with modern pieces that bought great balance from both worlds to the overall collection.
