New Music: Illbliss feat. Flavour & Stormrex – Nku


“Nku” (Meaning Abundant Wealth in Igbo Dialect) is the official first single off Illbliss‘s Fourth Studio Album, tentatively titled ‘iLLYGATi’.

The song was produced by Kezy Klef, one of the fastest Rising Producers, based in Enugu, Eastern Nigeria. The song also features Flavour and Storm Rex.

    No, it doesn’t mean abundant wealth. Nku means wood in Igbo. In this context, they mean ‘we are working hard and making money.

    Ewoo , aku is wealth in igbo , but nku as a slang in igbo literally means money,wealth , just like if u say mehn dangote ji nku ya ( dangote get money die ) let’s broaden our dialect in whatever context it is used , thanks umu igbo m ji eme onu , ndeewo nu

    in igbo nKU IS a popular slang for someone holding loads of money.
    the jam is dope..anyway coming from illBliss i never expect less. still bumping his last two albums in my car everyday cos he just makes hip hop sound really accessible and great…

    Nku obviously is the Igbo word for wood but then its still a colloquial word meaning plenty of money,by the way nice song especially the stormrex part.
