The Braided Crown! Temi Otedola kicks off JTO Fashion’s first ever Beauty Series

Temi Otedola founded JTO Fashion in 2014 and since then we’ve loved keeping up with her trendy style.

Most of her previous posts focused on her outfits and love for African brands but she has kicked off her first ever beauty series with a photo spread themed “The Braided Crown”.

According to her “I thought it would be nice to take a break of fashion to do something a little creative with my other love – beauty. I’ve created three distinct looks for you to emulate and try yourself!”.

As described on her website:

My first post is a fabulously natural makeup look. The entire look is nude from eyes to the lips, creating a very dewy glow and no-makeup look. You can create this look yourself by using an allover nude base and just adding some warmer depth on the eyelids and cheeks, with a defined brow. The braided up-do is essentially a crown. It oozes effortless glamour. Create this hair look at home by braiding two plaits then clipping them around your head. This look is perfect for a day look and also if you don’t want to look like you’re wearing too much makeup.

The hair is not nice, and definitely doesn’t suit her.

So she didn’t do the hair an make-up by herself (”i’ve created 3 distinct looks for you to emulate and try yourself”) sigh

I don’t think the hair suits her face shape. The braids should have been placed higher to create the illusion of a longer face rather than placing it on her forehead. I love the fresh look though.

The Hair adds like 10yrs to her age, it makes her face look fat. It doesn’t fit her. If you are going to ride on your papa’s money come correct. Go to school to be a blogger if you must, you may be able to afford expensive clothes and publicity, but if you don’t have coordination, learn it.

    The makeup, perfection!

I am no hater but they should drop this Billionaire Daughter tag line they give the media to introduce them, she can do well and get her own career popping afterall she’s a blogger and her sister is a DJ, they can stand on their own and make their own titles, let your talent speak not your father’s billion tag line. We already know you are daughter of a billionaire is that your selling point? Is money buying the talent? is it abinibi or billionaire ability?

Someone wants to become the Nigerian version of Kylie. Good luck with that as Nigerians hardly hero-worship except where it pertains to religion.

What is with the hate? So what if she comes from a rich background. Man repeller, rookie magazine owner, who are famous bloggers happen to come from a very rich background and thousands of of other bloggers. This girl is talented. You dont have to come from rock bottom to make it. The karshadians certainly didn’t. So whats the fuss?
