New Video: 2Face – Implication

2face_idibiaThe video for 2Face‘s song “Implication” has just hit the tube. Fan reaction to “Implication” was strong when it was released in December 2009. With the release of the video, the song will definitely gain more traction.
The version of the song in the video appears to be a club-mix as the beat is quickened. The video itself is the usual club fare with girls and dancing. The main video vixen is the same girl from the recent Sauce Kid video “Under G”. We’ve obviously been watching way too much music videos!
Check out 2Face – Implication

    “….lets get implicated together…” lol.
Anyway, I didn’t see that much butt and booty shaking. But i gotta say, 2face is notorious for ridiculous videos, and when i say ridiculous, its not some hip term for great….its just plain RIDIC. Plus he needs to find a new outlet or just another muse because the basis of all his music seem to be the same…..same ‘ol music with a diff tune. yawn!

This is a very upbeat song and a nice video too. The song’s got a pop and disco feel to it meant for the clubs so its only natural to get the sort of scenes in the video. Thats the way the song will most likely be rocked in the club anyway. And thats how most girls dance in any party nowadays….nothing wrong with it! Appreciate 2face; he’s such a rare talent

i understand what people like omo are saying when they say “this is total rubbish”. the only thing is that they have to be more specific. it is not rubbish in absolute terms. it is only rubbish to them, the same way some of us cannot stand RnB. i personally think this is a really upbeat party tune from tuface. plus he sang a good part of it in his language which is not a very popular one. so i’ll give him points for originality. then again, tuface did not go to juliard school of music nor did he have such “inspiring and ingenious nigerian musicians” to work with. this is just his talent and he’s making it work. so all of you talking down from your high horse, why don’t you go and sing or direct something so we can see the much talked about creativity at its height!
and please don’t start referencing beyonce or any american musician ‘cos that industry has been running on billions of dollars for donkey years!

You don’t have to go to Julliard to know creativity, half the worlds “famous” musicians did not go to Julliard but most of them stand out because they have that zing….that IT factor. Their creativity is literally oozing from every beat. I don’t believe I have to be in the music industry to know when a video or song is bad (in my opinion), that’s like saying i cant complain about what the govt is doing because I’m not in politics…that’s absurd, everyone should be entitled to their own opinion. Whatever happened to constructive criticism?

love the song, but the movement of the video gave me a headache….and as for vixen…if she does that head-back-hair-flip thing one more time i will rip out that weave. Hate to say it, but seriously, like sey we no know where we fit buy similar weave and exercise our knowledge of “hairology”….mtchew. Vid quality isnt so bad…just no concept to the vid…really. Wont stop me from listening to the song and trying to sing in idoma though…LOL

In fair, the criticism of this video holds true…just boringly predictable.

But the song is real good with a catchy beat.

However, I sincerely hope we can see the REAL ‘Vintage 2face” once more : The vocalist and lyricist…not the sold-out mainstream wannabe!

I like his songs, but his videos doesn’t match his songs, no creativity.
I think the African Queen video is his only good video. His video doesn’t show
what the song is about, it’s just people all over the place.

I think he forgets that he’s a well known artist, that he has to put in more
