BN Exclusive – Video WORLD PREMIERE: Shina Peters, M.I, Nneka, Bez & Ice Prince – Like A Bottle

Hennessy has shown its commitment to encouraging budding talent in Nigeria, as is evidenced by its flagship outing of the Hennessy Artistry show last year. Most of the acts that participated have gone on to greater things from Ice Prince – the winner, to Mo’cheddah, Bez and Jimmy Flames to name a few.

The video for Like a Bottle has further stamped this commitment. It features an all star cast from the legendary Shina Peters, M.I, Nneka, Bez, M.I & Ice Prince. We definitely love the scenes where Bez is chatting up the model as well as the rap battle scene between Ice Prince & M.I

Let the music play!

I don’t really care for it. The video is nice tho. My fave parts are Shina Peters, MI and IcePrince. Nneka was a hit random imo, the guitar was not needed.

Unfortunately, Nneka and Bez, certified talented musicians, couldn’t even save this train wreck of a song. The video is aiight. Nice to see Shina peter again. Definitely brought back memories of my childhood when his song was always played at parties…

Emmmm, watched the video like twice to accertain what was wrong with the it and the music. Bamm!!!I got it, the change in tone by each artist except for MI was not well utilised. SSP didnt quite go from low pitch to high very well, his high pitch and attitude wasnt need at the beginning of the song, then Bez didnt hit it for the role taken. MI and Ice prince did well, Nneka’s was an ok but guess her voice went wrong with it cos SSP had already set the tune. Video concept was superb, 1st of its kind from Nija. Well done Henessy but make a more detailed research with artist and voices for next video, You are a brand with prestige so your video should come in like manner.

I love what Henny is doing but the song, production and concept was a tad confusing. MI was phenomenal while the others were so so. O yeah, welcome back Sir Shina Peters!

Nice video….poorly constructed song….this tends to happen when too many ‘stars’ r fused together in one track..Sad!!

Love love love this video. I was wondering what the fuss was about Bez’s energy level till MI took the mic. So I catch the fuss. However, I don’t think it negatively affected the quality of the video. All the artists did great really!
SIR SHINA PETERS I HAIL YOUUUUU! You totally set it off in style!

    October 25, 2010 at 11:36 am

This was obviously done in a rush and the artists & produce weren’t given enough time to make it flow better. Love each of them individually but together on this track, naah

A bad mix of a rily gud line-up of talents… The song itself made me cringe all d way while i was actually waiting for the gud bit to start………Gr8 seeing these really cool artistes coming togeda though…
