This was a major coup for Mo’ Hits, and it looks like they can only go up from here. Next up a collaboration with Kanye West. Read up on Kanye announcing he’s working with them here: http://that1960chick.com/2011/03/01/kanye-announces-collaboration-with-dbanj-don-jazzy-on-twitter/

  15. HRS OLUBUSOLA

    March 4, 2011 at 10:42 am

Hold up! If you do a colabo or feature in a song, u gotta be paid, it’s not free na. I’ll be shocked if we were told Snoop Dogg wasn’t paid, if he wasn’t then he’ll have a share in the dough that comes from selling the video na. At least he didn’t lie that he did a colabo, then we’ll find out it was just a publicity stunt! Carry go D’Banj and Mo’Hits crew, we love ya!

    • Chipii

      March 4, 2011 at 12:22 pm

Thank u! Was just about to say that! Naija ppl go everly malyan!

Just so you know, Chris Aire is the famous Iceman who jewels the hollywood stars and he is proudly Nigerian. And we regularly meet people thru other people, besides D’Banj said he met him thru Chris, not forming papas like some other person could have said “oh, Snoop called me and requested that we do a remix of my song and asked to be featured in it!”. U can’t expect him to walk up to him on the street….. Monalisa take note.

    March 4, 2011 at 12:16 pm

nice move for naija music… kudos to Dbanj and don jazzy… but not the best song to come out of mo hits stable. i think the fact that snoop was there has made us all ignore the fact that…. THE SONG NO SWEET!

    March 4, 2011 at 7:12 pm

Ok. I never really comment again these days but na wa sha for we Naijarians. How the h – e double hockey sticks do you want him to sound?!? Fake? Yeah of course. See Oyinbo cannot differentiate between tush and razz and all that razzmatazz nonsense that we base a lot of our judgements on. Neither can excellence and talent. smh

  21. omo-yankee

    March 4, 2011 at 9:35 pm

Damn u guys just need to give Dbanj his credit for doing his thing!! forget if he’s razz or not,..what is the real meaning of razz n e way?? If anyone was to determine the meaning that means all of us are razz one way or another

  22. deyinka

    March 4, 2011 at 10:54 pm

    but he razzz now? lol

    March 5, 2011 at 5:46 am

ok enuff with the “razz” accusations…If he spoke phone now…you guys wld accuse him of forming…He is being himself and all you guys can see or say is how razz he is….psheeewwwww!!! ABEG…Get a life and appreciate when pple are actually okay with being real…..D’BANJ…Abeg more grease to your elbows…be you ojare…

      March 5, 2011 at 10:24 am

      Help me tell them oh!

  25. Gee

    March 5, 2011 at 11:26 am

But you know they must find a fault in every success nooowww…!!! His ‘original’ self is what has gotten him to where he is today. You excel faster by being yourself than trying to be someone else? Too much energy goes on that BS! Better to Channel that energy into making the best of what you are. Ride on Dee!

  26. whatsmyname

    March 5, 2011 at 6:41 pm

I’m sorry “monalisa” but very few artists collaborate for free, especially not one of Uncle Snoop’s calibre. So you can take your hateful comments elsewhere because its not needed. The fact he paid for it doesn’t take anything away from the song. video or our love for D’banj and that green white green phantom!

  27. THE AMAKA

    March 6, 2011 at 3:04 pm

d’banj is seriously trying too hard, i think he should calm down.

  28. Jennifer

    March 7, 2011 at 5:00 pm

The collabo was good but i didnt see the point cuz Snoop Dogg barely said 10 words he jus stood there and danced

  29. mee

    March 8, 2011 at 1:24 pm

Very true Amaka, D’banj is trying to hard for what comes naturally to Tuface. For all I know, Tuface is the biggest thing in Africa!!!!! There’s no basis for comparison between him and Tuface

  30. Nike

    March 8, 2011 at 3:09 pm

Ok! Whether he’s razz or forming or trying too hard etc…..it happened, they (Don Jazzy + Dbanj) actually made their goals happen and that’s all that matters. Congrats and welldone for making it happen. Proud of you!

  31. babylawyer

    March 8, 2011 at 8:21 pm

hmmm… actually he was more well-spoken than I thought he would be, except for the obvious bits of amusing exaggeration
