All the Red Carpet Photos from the Schon Afrique “Royal Collection” Event – Adora Oleh, Praiz, Tara Fela-Durotoye, Mai Atafo & Many More

It was a memorable night for Schon Afrique on Sunday 20th November 2011 as friends and family gathered at the Civic Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos to experience the unveiling of “The Royal Collectionby Folake Majin, “The Breathless Experience” by Miss Majin and “The Circle Revolution” collection by Gogo Majin.

Guests at this event included Adora Oleh, Praiz, Tee-A, Tara Durotoye, Lagos State First Lady – Abimbola Fashola, Opral Benson, Adesuwa Onyenokwe, Elohor Aisien and a host of others.

Just before the show started, the guests were treated to refreshing cocktails and canapes by the beautiful Civic Centre waterside.

The fashion show really differed from the norm as it was depicted in line with the royal theme, the entire show was scripted by Tosin Otudeko into a story from start to finish which saw OC Ukeje play King and Tosin Otudeko as Queen.

The three different collections of the day were also incorporated into the story with the king presenting each collection in a bid to win the approval of his queen. Attendees were thrilled with musical performances by Tiwa Savage and Praise Adejo (Praiz) and they also had a reason to smile home as the lead sponsor of the fashion show – MTN gave out lots of gifts where three lucky attendees got BlackBerry playbooks.

This event was sponsored by MTN and the Bank of Industry with media support by Channels Television, Beat FM and Classic FM.

Photos of all the collections presented at the event will be published on BN tomorrow. Check out the red carpet photos below.

Na real wa. This event was def for the old cargoes of fashiion.
Most people looked bad and Davina takes the cake. The hair and dress are really one in town.
Elohor, that LV belt is just tacky. Iyama.
Onyinye Fifii looks good but a little too simple.
And that GM4FM dress on d guest is a disaster. Like sumtin out of Ankara Fashion Week in 2001.

Is there a reason Praiz choice such an ill fitting kaftan/tunic? Looks like he’s about to burst with those button holes begging for mercy.
