On Wednesday 14th December 2011, creative and hi-tech multimedia company – Solution Media & Infotech Limited, gave Nigeria a glimpse of the 22nd century by holding a “futuristic” exhibition at Tafawa Balewa Square to showcase state of the art equipments like 3D laser and multimedia displays, projection screens, digital large screen prints and many more by well trained personnels in an effort to help Nigerian multimedia and motion picture practitioners compete on the same stage as Hollywood and other foreign film industries in terms of quality and quantity of motion pictures.
This futuristic event was a sure spectacular night as it was graced in grand style by actors and actresses, event agencies, media representatives and other industry professionals. Where are the “Futuristic Displays” na? All I see are people…. people…. people… Unless they are claiming those 2007 lenses are the “Futuristic Displays” and “cutting edge technology”… na wah God save us in Naija everyone is taking advantage of us including our so called leaders…

As long as we lack constant electricity supply in Nigeria, all the ‘futuristic’ and technologically advanced innovative systems brought to the country pretty much remain very short term. The first key step to bringing Nigeria fully into the Computer Age is to supply us with constant electricty. The end result simply is an atmosphere of endless possibilities and opportunities for young Nigerians to tap into
