Registered in Lagos, Nigeria, The Designer Label is a translation, writing and Cross-Cultural Consultancy established in 2011, specifically to provide specialized language and cross-cultural promotional services to African designers and artists.

The main objective of The Designer Label is to help effectively bridge the “communication gap” between Africa and the non-English speaking world as it remains committed to provide translation, writing and consultancy services that are effective, professional, accurate and timely.

Edith Nkwocha, Owner of the Designer Label tells us what makes the Designer Label’s services so special
The fashion and art industries are special market segments. Through my company I provide a unique combination of services under one umbrella, which is to help established and upcoming African designers and artists get their message across and into foreign markets.
Established designers and artists can also benefit from The Designer Label’s translation and writing services to promote their new collection or work via their website, promotional materials, press releases, blogs and more, translated specifically into the language spoken in their target market(s).
