That was absolutely beautiful. God have mercy on this great nation. We have endured bad leadership for so long. We the people of Nigeria have suffered but our hope has never been killed. We should not all just sit and pray for change or nag about everything. Every single one of us should do our little bit to make Nigeria what we hope for it to be. God bless Nigeria.

Haters shouting that she can only sing with auto tune abeg where is the auto tune now. I dont see none of you ugly spirits here giving her credit now. Some of the others can sing no doubt but tiwa in my opinion is wayyyyy better ALL of them. They have big voices but they dont have the technics tiwa does. She doesnt just sing better she moves and touches your emotions when she does

Simi u are just a hater. How can u have a Nigerian name but sing praises about Beyonce who doesnt even know the history of this country or the harmony of our anthem. Tiwa you brought a lot of us to tears and you made us proud to be Nigerian. There is hope for this country.

Tiwa is fireball. To take a simple anthem and turn into a tear-jerking ballad, that’s just amazing.

Nigeria is 52, what have you done for Nigeria? I hate when people blame the sufferings on the leaders. I know they’re doing their own part but the people make the nation and all the internet fraudsters and other forms of corruption that have plagued the country for years were and are still being committed by the people.

Don’t just show your love for Nigeria by saying ‘I love my country’, ‘Proudly Nigerian or ‘Naija4life’, all these are just empty phrases if you can’t show Nigeria how committed you are to her. Then you’re just another fraudster.

Nigerians are confident, boisterous sometimes, full of energy. If only their confidence can be channelled in the right direction most times, Nigeria would be a super power in no time.

To all the artists, activists, bloggers, inventors and all the young people working their hardest daily to make Nigeria a super proud nation, I duff my hats to you.

I know some young , dedicated people and I know some young proud dedicated Nigerians. Keep it up.

I swear, some people are still lost in high school. Can’t we have mature intelligent rebuttals? Hater, as irritating as that word sounds, is being used so often, people automatically drop the word, and it excuses them from coming up with something witty and intelligent. If anyone does not like something, please go back to your English 101, and find something appropriate to use, and stop with this hater, and all its numerous adjectives, that I won’t even dignify by mentioning them
