I tried watching it last week and even my lack of talent in these sort of activities could not curb my criticism. I doubt the sponsors will return for a 2nd season. The paucity of real talent in this show is cringe worthy, apart from the kids singing.

  8. I wan cry!

Talents should be extra ordinary…. I haven’t seen anything extra ordinary here.

      December 6, 2012 at 4:25 pm

really? says who? N No talent does not have to be extraordinary although if it did great as long as it has an entertainment factor sha in this case. We all have our own individual talent that makes out stand out respectively. Anyways the qs u should ask is can you do any of those things people are doing? Yes you might have seen it b4, but can u do it? If you cant then I will leave d rest to you to Go figure.

I think the fundamental purpose people are forgetting to grasp or are failing to comprehend or chose to ignore or all of the above, is that? *drumolls* it is for ENTERTAINMENT purposes. Pls google the word Entertainment, it meant to wet your appetite, get you gisting about it even if you are dizzing the show, it doesn’t matter, as long as viewers rates are sky rocketing, money is being made and PR for adverts. Kia it will carry on.

  16. PLUSH & LUSH

    December 6, 2012 at 10:31 pm

Place this side by side with either America or Britain’s got talent and see how this joke of a talent show holds up. It really is embarrassing if you want to compare the two. Please let’s just stick to the ones we can handle like West African Idol, MTN project fame, Glo Naija Sings and the Maltina Dance Whatever, and stop making such ridiculous forays into areas we cannot take the time to really finetune, because I do think that’s the problem with Nigeria. We see others do something and we jump in without proper assessment bc we no wan carry last.

they all guys should take it easy, they cant judge or pick finalist that did not come and audition. what ever you input is what comes out as your output..these are the people that audition. its not their fault plus i think they okay except the baniru guy and maybe the light skinned girl in ankara

Excuse me people…….. Rome wasn’t built in a day, watch the first season and first episode of US or the UK gots talent, that’s what you should compare with not shows that have improved themselves over the years. We keep saying we have talent in Nigeria now some people have gathered the courage to display and you guys as always been NEGATIVE. This is the first and if the sponsors make enough Profit which is always the main aim trust me they will be back in no time and they will also fix all the defectives issues. what works in US might not work in Nigeria we are all different. More seasons and it will get better and become a success “tiny droplets make a mighty ocean”

I’m sure most of you criticising can’t do half of what these ppl can, some of you haven’t even seen the program. Sure some of em ain’t all that but the others have sum’n unique. How many ppl you know can play the violin like that guy can or beat box like the other guy. Don’t be a negative nancy (•ِ̑•̅). Be positive or stfu.
