Etisalat Nigeria started the year on a high note. It rewarded some of its loyal customers and best performing frontline staff of 2012 with an all-expense paid trip to South Africa to watch the Nigerian matches that were played in the preliminary round of the 2013 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
During the week long trip, Etisalat customers drawn from different parts of Nigeria and from various walks-of-life had the opportunity to watch the Nigeria Vs Zambia match at the Mbombela Stadium, Nelspruit, and the Nigeria Vs Ethiopia match at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium, Rustenburg both in South Africa. At both matches, Etisalat customers were hosted in exclusive VIP Hospitality suites which gave them the best view of the pitch and allowed them enjoy a buffet lunch/dinner and drinks in the Etisalat hospitality suite as they watched the matches.
The trip to South Africa also included sightseeing tours of the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve, the Wonder Cave, the Apartheid Museum and a visit to Soweto. Other perks of the trip were meals at top-rated restaurants in Sandton, Spa treatments at the Puri Thai Massage, and shopping at the Sandton City Mall and Morning Side Shopping Centre.
