Abegi leave the song alone, the original version by Emeli Sande and Labyrinth is perfect – don’t mess with perfection. Checkout the original song on Youtube – its awesome!

      February 14, 2013 at 6:19 pm

They were not out to redo the song they were both in the studio and tweeted to fans to suggest a song they would like to hear them cover. The fans tweeted back and Labrinth was the choice it is for their fans that’s all. And the people who can hear auto tune I think I may just need to refresh my browser or get my ears checked what auto tune are you people hearing?

    • LibraChic

      February 14, 2013 at 9:11 pm

In that case, as you suggested, you do need to get your ears checked – there is auto tune everywhere. Auto-tune doesn’t always have to be as extreme as T-Pain to be called “auto-tune”, but the original vocal (especially the male vocal) is very obviously tampered with to the point of sounding unnatural.

    February 14, 2013 at 6:26 pm

havent heard this song before and it is beautiful. tiwa killed it as always but dr sid’s autotuned voice is a hell no brother..reminds me of myself in my bathroom singing and desperately trying to sound like beyonce..i’m not one to discourage ppl from trying new things and so ill say what i always tell myself :you can do it!!..get a vocal coach and train that voice which you already have and you will sound better cos this aint cutting it my dear..

  19. LibraChic

    February 14, 2013 at 9:17 pm

Auto-tune ruined a great song – completely strips the vocal of emotion. This is actually disappointing. Tiwa’s vocals were lovely though. Judging from the comments on here, either a lot of people don’t know what auto-tune is, or need to clean out their ears. lol

    February 14, 2013 at 9:19 pm

Nice attempt but with all d noise in the background, it sounded like d Alaba version of the real song. Sid tried, never saw him as much of a singer anyways but Tiwa sure can sing…overskill sef

  30. 5'5

    February 15, 2013 at 9:19 am

Dr Sid’s voice had the power needed for the song, Tiwa Savage’s voice didnt. Dr Sid for the win, auto-tune and all. Maybe Tuface and Omawunmi should have a go, now That would be a duet and a half!

  31. Desire

    February 15, 2013 at 9:49 am

really guys, i heard d song and i thot it was actually cool, almost matched d original but i guess i dont know what auto tune is.

Tiwa and her overload on imperfect Brandy runs, Dr sid and overload on vocoder…smh… they both just ruined a beautiful song.
