Lookin’ fierce Nike!

Nigeria’s former beauty queen Nike Oshinowo strikes a stylish pose for TW Magazine‘s April 2013 cover issue.

TW spotlights Big Brother Amplified housemate Vimbai Muntinhiri for its celebrity feature. The 26-year-old Zimbabwean beauty who co-hosted the inaugural edition of The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards in March, shares an exciting insight into her personal and professional life.

According to TW’s rep, in keeping with the theme of women who march to the beat of their own drum, we get acquainted with three fun, fearless and fascinating young women – Storm Records artiste Ms Jaie, M-Net presenter Jumai Shaba and East African songwriter/vocalist Somi.

This issue also features 18 pages of lust-worthy spring fashion, starting with a 10 page fashion spread featuring this year’s must have spring/summer floral trends from top Nigerian designers. There’s also their Practical Girl’s Guide to another spring trend – monochrome & the “blinging” accessorized feature.

You’ll also see regular features on relationships, health, finance and beauty, plus articles to help you live your best, most authentic life. This issue is currently available nationwide.

Wait she’s separated already? Na wa o! She talked about embracing her flaws, why she go do plastic surgery na and fill her face with botox? She for embrace am na and let old age have its way…don’t really understand the need to set the record straight

      April 9, 2013 at 9:48 pm

maybe (one of) her flaw(s) is not accepting who she was aging to become…lol.
but on the real though, I feel like she had the funds to fix her face and body (which happens to be her major selling point) and she did it! I think a lot of these women go through with the procedures without being that deep about it…. wrinkle + botox = wrinkle free…simple as abc! lols….that’s why we need to do good research before jumping on board ‘trends’

Is Pepper Okwessa-Chikezie, the stylist for the shoot, the same person as Yohanna/Yvonnne “Pepper” Okwesa? Didn’t know she got married. I love her unconventional style. If its the same person, congrats girl and may your marriage be blessed.

Love Nike. So she’s a 90’s beauty queen, who cares, she’s still as beautiful as she was in that Venus advert. So she has had stuff done? It’s her body and her choice really.

she looks amazing and all cant even fault the fact that she always has her best foot forward botox, surgery or whatever, its her body.. but im tired of seeing “former beauty queen”.. im 23 now and i dont even remember when she was beauty queen so maybe that was before my time? my point is, if after 20 years you cant find somethng else that defines you then something needs to be sorted out somewhere. for example if i think agbani darego, i think ok her fashion line, her masters etc.. if i think Ms Oshinowo all i know is “former beauty queen” or maybe I should do more research on her…

She’s been setting the records straight since I was a child. Someone should give the lady a damn ruler, and some glue to keep the records in place!
