Somi is an American singer-songwriter of Rwandan and Ugandan descent and recently just finished a tour in Lagos. On this ‘Ndani Sessions’, she performs “Ginger Me”, a rich mix of Jazz and Soul. Her rendition could send shivers through your spine.

    This is fantastic! Such an amazing voice, I hope I also have that kind of voice, Ha Ha. Anyway, I’m still happy even though I’m not an actual singer, as long as I can sing my favorite songs, that would be enough for me. 🙂

    Wonderful. I can only hope that when I visit East Africa on my pan-African tour, I will receive the same warm, welcoming reception that Somi has received in Nigeria so far. Amen.
