Something for the Children! Photos from the “Paloo and Friends in Imaginaria” Book Launch
It was all fun and laughter at Paloo’s Place, Ikoyi when kids and their parents came to witness the unveiling of the latest literary sensation for kids, children’s book “Paloo and Friends in Imaginaria”.
“Paloo and Friends in Imaginaria” is a children’s picture book written by Aishetu Fatima Dozie, a former finance and investment banker. It is a story about the adventures of a fun-loving Nigerian Boy, ‘Paloo’ and his friends – ‘Lara’ and ‘Suhail’. Aishetu hopes this book will play an important part in strengthening the existing African culture of storytelling.
The book launch was filled with lots of fun activities for the kids as there were loads of creative activities for them to participate in. The author, Aishetu Fatima Dozie also read out the book to the kids, as she ‘played out’ some of it. All the guests went home with their party packs which included an exclusively autographed copy of “Paloo and Friends in Imaginaria”.
