We’re so excited about this movie we knew we HAD to share! Andrew Dosunmu is the amazing director behind “Mother of George“. The cinematography is simply amazing and the plot is simple yet intriguing. Starring brilliant actors like Danai Gurira (Fans of AMC’s Walking Dead will know Danai), Isaach De Bankolé (from White Material), Tony Okungbowa, Bukky Ajayi and Angelique Kidjo – the film is about a Nigerian couple living in Brooklyn. Marital problems arise from their inability to have a baby and then issue goes on to drive a wedge in their family.

According to the producers: “Dosunmu captures the nuances of this unique and fascinating culture by creating a beautiful, vibrant, and moving portrait of a couple whose joys and struggles are at once intimate and universal.
