Lookin’ fierce Juliet.

For Zen Magazine‘s 2013 September Issue, one cover star came to mind for the team – Juliet Ibrahim.

The Ghanaian actress sizzles in a strapless yellow print chiffon dress, an Avante-garde gold necklace and a gold bracelet. Her cover look was completed with a side braided up do, eye popping make-up and coloured nail polish.

In an exclusive sit down with the magazine, she speaks like never before on her life, why she started her foundation, movies, fashion and her beauty secrets.

In an excerpt from the interview, here’s what Juliet tells the mag on the celebrity life;

When it comes to being a celebrity, there is no book you can read about how to become a celebrity. It doesn’t matter whether you were born from a poor family or whether your upbringing was rough, if you truly believe you have what it takes to be famous or to be successful, the only thing stopping you is you.

Every year, a new celebrity is born out of Africa and over the last decade, we have witnessed so many amazing African celebrities breaking new grounds locally and internationally. In the movie industry for example, the likes of Chiwetel Ejiofor, Djimon Hounsou, Idris Elba, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Charlize Theron, Thandie Newton are a few names that come to my head when I think of Africans who are breaking new grounds for not only themselves but for others who want to venture into acting and theatre.
