Monalisa Chinda in Vonne Couture at the InterContinental Hotel Grand Opening in Lagos

On Sunday 29th September 2013, InterContinental Hotel Lagos had its grand opening party.

The event which saw in attendance top government officials, business executives and celebrities including Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Guy Murray-Bruce, Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha, Ali Baba, Omawumi, Desmond Elliot and Adaure Achumba.

Monalisa Chinda was also present at the event.

For the gathering, the Nollywood star selected a black dress by Vonne Couture.

The sleeveless black dress which features a sequined bodice, a plunging neckline and satin skirt, was from the Nigerian design label’s Black Mamba collection displayed at the 2012 Arise Magazine Fashion Week. (click here to see).

Monalisa styled the dress with gold stud earrings, a gold cocktail ring, a black clutch and blue stilettos. Adding a pop of colour with her red lipstick, she completed the look with wavy locks.
