Waje is Beautiful & Chic on the November 2013 Cover of Zen Magazine

Waje is Zen Magazine's November 2013 Covergirl - BellaNaija - November 2013_001What a mega-smile from a mega-star. You can spell it, sing it or yell it…Words Just Aren’t Enough to say how beautiful songstress Waje looks on the cover of online lifestyle magazine – Zen Magazine‘s November issue.

According to the magazine’s editor, Arinze Nwokolo;

On our November cover is a gorgeous African singer who is completely dedicated to her craft. She is a terrific vocalist, a mother to an adorable girl and is a Globacom Ambassador. Waje brings the spark to our cover this month and each time I think about Waje, she reminds me so much of Tina Turner on stage. Her live performances always leave me speechless and each single she has ever performed has always had so much energy in it.

She loves to laugh, she loves life and she loves to sing. This month, Waje shares everything with Zen; from her new singles to her plans for a new album. We also get to know more about her musical career, and what she feels about African fashion.

You can also look forward to the Zen team’s take on everything fashion. In their fashion segment the new issue touches on hot new trends to try and exclusive interviews with plus-size model Philomena Kwao, Nigerian pop singer Dencia and afro singer, Solidstar.

Don’t forget to let us know what you think of the cover. Our verdict? We think Waje looks beautiful!

    Love the snake/python (?) leather (?) bustier with the Ankara skirt.
    Do not love the hair. It looks like she wrapped it at night to keep it from being frizzy then forgot the take it down and brush it.
    Do not love the jewelry ESPECIALLY the Wonder Woman bracelets and lasso around her middle area. One cuff is enough. The Ankara lasso looks like it was thrown over her at the last minute. Why? She dey go climb palm tree to tap palm wine?
    The necklace is like a Cleopatra inspire neck piece that doesn’t match with the West African vibe of the Ankara or the edginess of the bustier. A beautiful neckpiece made of natural stone beads or wood would have been great or an edgier leather piece to push the rock and roll West Africa vibe.

      I don’t have to show you a damn thing, Ronke. I don’t have
      to style for a living to have an opinion or to have taste and I
      have loads. There is no requirement on this blog site that states
      that before one can critique a piece of film, music, fashion or
      write up, one must have a degree or work experience in any of the
      fields. You wanted to have your say, abi? We don hear you, now you
      shift your gear and park well yourself.
