Brandy shopping in Lagos - February 2014 - BellaNaija - 025

Brandy takes Lagos.

After the American superstar performed her hit tracks at the Classic FM Valentine’s Event on Sunday night, she and her crew went shopping at Grey Velvet, Lekki on her last day in Lagos.

Rising songstress Tonye Garrick who accompanied them tells BellaNaija Music that “they didn’t have much time, so they had lunch and went shopping”.

Brandy was all smiles as she posed for the cameras in a grey tank top, grey jacket, print scarf and jeans. Her friend Shawn Harrison from the hit series – Family Matters, also went out with her.

Dear Nigerians and West Africans. It’s time to stop the hate and the negative energy. Can African- Americans win? Could they?
How many times do we have to fight? How many times till we get it right between us?
West Africans sold their own to slavery in exchange for coral beads, guns, hats, whisky, mirrors, etc… Slaves descendants in the USA and the americas have been some much inspiration for all Africans. When Africans come to America, they quickly find out the surest and quickest way to acquire any type of legitimacy in the eyes of whites is to show their disdain for African Americans.
Africans tribes like Arochukwu igbo, Efik , Ijaw, Ijebu Yoruba, Egun Yoruba, aworri Yoruba, Edo, Hausa, Fulani sold African-Americans and Caribbeans ancestors to white men. These Africans today do not feel like their ancestors did wrong. This lack of guilt feeling for their ancestors’ criminal activity means that they are mostly anti-social personalities.
If I don’t speak, the stones would cry out. Its time West Africans and whites pay us reparation.
Bella Naija please post my comments. Thank you

Dear Nigerians. Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa and the richest country in the world.
But why Nigeria is known as not a developed country? Why 70% of Nigerians live on less than US$1.25 a day? Why in rural areas, where up to 80% of the population lives below the poverty line, and social services and infrastructure are limited? IS Poor Leadership Is the Reason for Nigeria’s Underdevelopment?
The answer is no. If I don’t speak, the stones would cry out.
The Creator is punishing Africans for their ancestors’ sin of not loving and respecting their people hence capturing and selling them into slavery.

Nigerians and West Africans in the past and in the present sinned. Sinners must make amends for their sins. Denying those sins is not helpful for denial does not eliminate a wrong done.
Nigerians and West Africans must make amends for their past and present sins; it is when they do so would Africa house come to order and for things to work out well for Africans.
Nigerians and West Africans must change their hearts, from past and today’s stony hearts that do not love and care for their fellow Africans; from stone hearts that only know how to sell other Africans and not work for their good to loving hearts that work for the good of Africans

Abegi whatever you call yourself Prophetess 8***???? go sit down for one corner, your comments are too over the top. You obviously harbor too much anger in you. You have a lot to say, but in this context, it is quite unnecessary. You just another forum to vent your anger. I suggest you look for other forums to do that!

    • SugarOnMyLips

      February 18, 2014 at 8:10 pm

I meant. “you should find a political forum to vent your anger”.

Why are you reposting your comments from earlier posts? All can see that you continue to post the same comments for every topic regardless of what is being discussed. That’s insanity, my dear.

Prophetess je were oche. Who be you? Let me add salt to this your gaping wound that is making you speak before thinking – perhaps you were one of the few that were sold because they were condemned members of society, usually the result of committing a heinous crime like murder.

Soon and very soon, we are going to give the world more of its commercial music. You’ll see.
