President Jonathan summons Minister of Interior & Comptroller General of NIS for Query
Today Monday 17th March 2014, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan summoned Abba Moro, the Minister of Interior and David Parradang, the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) for an explanation on why over 19 job seekers died during the NIS recruitment over the weekend.
The job seekers who died in the recruitment which took place across the federation include Benin (3), Minna (3), Port Harcourt (5) and Abuja (8).
At the Presidential Villa, the meeting was held for over two hours. According to Sahara Reporters at 2:24 PM, they declined to comment on the issue as they exited the President’s office.
