#BringBackOurGirls: Police Requests Photos of Missing Girls

Parents of the over 200 abducted Borno school girls, are being urged by police authorities to come forward with photographs of their daughters.

Police authorities in Borno told BBC that they made this request because they need to confirm exactly which students are missing, because school records were been burnt during the raid.

The headmistress of the Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, where the girls were abducted from, is reportedly working with police, by trying to compile a list of names of students who were taking their final year exams. However, her task hasn’t been an easy one, as students from surrounding schools had also come to the school to take their exams, as it was deemed one of the safest areas in the state.

Another factor said to be hampering investigations is that many parents of the girls who allegedly escaped their captors may not have reported their return to police.

Are they sure that the number of girls abducted was not more than what they disclosed.

Isn’t this the same question or request Mrs Kema Chikwe asked for and she was being crucified on social media. This just confirms that all these while absolutely nothing was being done about the missing girls. Such a shame!

But really, we’ve not seen the girls that they said “escaped”.. this story is like an illusion.. the more you look, the less you see/understand.. what if all these are lies?

They’re just asking for their photos?!?! Really? Shouldn’t this have been a priority when the girls were first reported missing. How the hell are they suppose to be identified without their pics . The parents appear to be taking this shameful display of incompetence somewhat lightly. I really hope and pray to God that they are found safe and well, too many stories about 🙁
