17-year-old Ghanaian-American Kwasi Enin, who made headlines in April for being accepted into 8 ivy league universities including Harvard, Yale, Princeton and Columbiaread it here, has made his decision.

On Wednesday 30th April 2014, Kwasi made the announcement at the gymnasium of his school, William Floyd High School.

He shared that he will be attending Yale in the fall.

“My Bull Dog Days experience last week was incredible,” he said, referring to his New Haven campus visit.

“I met geniuses from all across the world. And everyone there was so friendly and inviting. And I believe that their deep appreciation and love for music, like I have, was very critical for me deciding to go there.”

Congratulations Kwasi.

If you recall African-American Akintunde Ahmad also made the announcement on Ellen DeGeneres‘ “The Ellen Show“,  that he will also be attending Yale – read it here.

He got offers from Ivy League universities and he is going to one- what is the big deal? His parents are not poor Africans, but educated and financially stable Ghanians who moved to the US- quite different from African-Americans, so going to an Ivy League school was never going to be a difficult thing.!! Even Jewish children get 8 offers too and it’s not such a big deal!!!

Show me which jewish kid got all 8 offers
Nonsense, Cant you say congratulations and just move on
Jealous EVIL WINCH, always negative. You are the only negative person on year, clearly you are evil and jealous cos not you or any one in your family can get into ONE ivy league let alone 8

I ask again show me that jewish person who also got into all 8.

This underdog mentality is why some peeps find it difficult to make headway in life (stop cheapening other people’s achievements). If it were that easy, can I ask why your name is not in that headline. Be genuinely happy for others and you won’t lack people who will be genuinely happy for you.
