It’s back again. In 2011, Flytime Promotions brought the adaptation of the iconic stage play starring Joke Silva, Tiwa Savage, Ireti Doyle, now it’s here in 2014 with a new cast.
The premier entertainment-solutions provider teamed once again with award winning playwright/stage director Wole Oguntokun to present “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When The Rainbow is Enuf“
Produced by Keke Hammond, it stars Osas Ighodaro, Funke Akindele, Oreka Godis, Carol King, Ade Laoye, Diana Yekinni, and Matilda Obaseki-Mozia.
It will go down on Sunday 15th June 2014 at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
“To be an artistic voice today and directly or indirectly touching base with past and current issues concerning ALL women and the girl-child means the world to me.” says Osas.
“Being a Coloured Girl goes beyond skin color. For me, it represents the travails every girl-child goes through and the fortitude needed for her individual journey to womanhood” says Carol.
“For Colored Girls… is an immeasurable experience; it is a rite of passage to womanhood, to sisterhood, to love.” says Oreka.
