The veteran Nollywood actress is back on the scene in Willis Ikedum’s new movie – Mummy Dearest.

I really hope this movie does not pass of the typical naija message that an overbearing mother is just “too loving”. If your mom is like this, kindly draw VERY clear boundaries. This one is craziness. That’s why a lot of men can’t make simple decisions for their lives- because their mothers are controlling everything. He will end of begging for food and expecting a mother for a wife… And vice versa, really.
If your mother is like this, abeg tell her to mind her business and go and do your own thing. Na only you born?

it’s not craziness, some mothers are overbearing but you can let them know you are independent by having a heart to heart talk with them, or showing them how independent you are as an adult, and most times they understand but you’ll always be their baby. any man/woman who can’t make decisions for himself/herself cannot blame his/her mother, that is entirely your fault, not the fault of an overbearing mother.
