Presenting “Malangeli” – Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent-Inspired Shoes Now on Sale for $1,600

If you loved Angelina Jolie‘s Maleficent-inspired Christian Louboutin shoes that she wore to all her Maleficent press events, you can now own them as they are on sale. There’ s a catch though – they’re $1,600 (N260,800) per pair.

The villainous 5-inch pair of shoes that have been named “Malangeli“, was co-designed by Christian Louboutin and Angelina. They feature a nude mesh base, cut-outs in front and horn-like adornments that embody the essence of Angelina’s villainous character. Made-to-order, they come in black, white or gold with a portion of sales going to the SOS Children’s Villages – one of Angelina’s favourite charities that provide stable homes for orphaned and abandoned children in 133 countries.

Christian told US Weekly in a interview that the villain provided a lot of inspiration for his design process. “It’s exciting to work with a film that has such a strong aesthetic and a character as great as Maleficent.” he said. “I’ve been under the charm and spell of Angelina and her character“. With such a wickedly fabulous design and Angelina’s star quality there’s not doubt that the shoes will sell fast. The question is will you buy considering the price? They are after all Louboutins.
