Nassarawa State Governor Al-Makura’s Head Driver Assasinated by Gunmen

Unknown gunmen have assassinated Abdullahi Mairuwa the head driver of Nasarawa State Governor, Umaru Al-Makura.

Premium Times reports that Mairuwa was traveling to his hometown in Keana local government area with his wife, Salamutu, when the gunmen shot  him at close range in his chest along Obi-Keana-Awe  road  on Saturday morning. The perpetrators of the crime subsequently fled via a bush path.

Sources say the killers advised Mairuwa’s wife not to be afraid, as they were only there for her husband and not her.

The deceased has been transported to his hometown in Keana.

Police authorities are currently investigating the case.
