"The Houstons: On Our Own" Series Premiere PartyIt was a tragic déjà vu when it was revealed that Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in a bathtub (click to read) and the scenario became sadder as Bobbi Kristina’s brain function diminished (click to read).

According to People magazine, doctors have now advised Bobby Brown that his 21-year-old daughter and sole heir to the Whitney Houston fortune should be taken off life support.

Chai, chai, chai. There is God. SO this is how bobby will inherit!!! Women need to be careful who they open their legs to. RIP to Whitney and her child. Sad that she couldn’t be a better mother to light a respectable way for her child. Regardless of her talent. What a tragic family story.. Say no to drugs or any addiction.

You really think Bobby will inherit what is left of Whitney’s estate? Watch as the Houstons will try to ride roughshod over him – old mama Cissy, Gary and his wife Pat. A big fight beckons.

I feel bobby Kristina took to much of a drug feeling strange she went to the bathroom the last place she remembers her mother being and passed out I do not think this was a suicide attempt at all she was depressed behind her mothers death for a long time and drugs was her choice of escape I feel she is with her mother now and she is talking to her daughter as all mothers do in this situation I feel her mother is going to send her back as a mother she wants her daughter to have a full and happy life and she loves her very much Bobby Kristina will tell the world what she and her mother talked about and also how happy she was seeing and being with her mother and how she did not want to leave her ever again but her mother insisted that she return because it was not her time she has things to do on earth and happiness to yet enjoy. GOD bless you Kristina and you have a full recovery.

Hi creamdecoco, I know you are hurt, but I just want to point it out 2 you about what the bible says about dead people. Kindly read Ecclesiastes 9:5,10, it says in part that ‘…..the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any reward, because all memory of them is forgotten……” . The bible also make it clear that there is hope for the dead, and that is when God will bring them back to life for judgment, pls also read John 5: 28&29, it also says in part “………….do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” . So my friend, Whitney is dead and those not know what is happening. She cant save any1. And that goes to all humans who is dead, the dead can’t talk, see, or do anything to the living. And that is even more reason we don’t want to say ” rest in peace” because they are dead and nothing disturbs a dead person. All we should be praying for is 4 God’s kingdom 2 come and put an end 2 mankind’s problem and then we can reunite with our dead loved ones . Hope this goes a long way 2 make you feel relieved . Have a nice day!

You have no right to say that! I believe in a merciful God who sees the pain Bobbi Kristina endured, especially after loosing her mom! it is wrong to judge, dont judge unless you want to be judged! She has been prayed a lot for and I believe in a prayer answering God.

Make the best choice for your life when you decide to bring a child into this world. Turn your life around, before you make that first step of being a parent. Looking after a baby will not cure your demons, it is not a therapy, so don’t go into that road if there are too much dilemma in your life. Bobbi Kristina has fallen victims of her parents circumstances and substance abuses. She was already condemned before she reach a certain age because her parents were too irresponsible and vulnerable to bring her up as an healthy and strong black woman. How i wish Witney’s parents had taken charge and remove Bobbi Kristina from this unhealthy environment. Only God knows why tragedy had to strike Whitney’s generation.

Although Bobby Brown is to blame for his part in the downfall f his daughter, i think he has suffered enough. I feel so sorry for his loss and i ask that God forgives him and help him overcome the passing of his daughter. R.I.P Bobbi Kristina.

Don’t understand all the I’m so so sorry bla blah…she wanted to die nah. God almighty agreed to her terms. I know loads of people that their parents are crack heads but their kids are role models in the society. Bobby Brown aint to blame shit. People should learn to take responsibility for whatever they become in life.

I do not mean to speak ill of the dead, but somethings just needs to be rationalized .
This is a tragedy, but I feel no iota of remorse for this girl. What was her excuse? People are/have going/gone through worse situations and not capitalize to make extremely stupid decisions. Your mother died leaving a bad image for herself, as a child you have the responsibility to eradicate that image with all thats left behind. You were so ‘hurt’ that you had to reenact the death. FOH!
    May her soul RIP.

    • girl

      February 5, 2015 at 9:33 pm

its easier to say when you’re not the one in the situation, this girl was brought up in the very worst environment a child could have been brought up – fame, drugs, lots of money and non attentive parents, so to sit down and talk about demons you’ve never had to fight is funny, like she is freaking with her adopted brother so that should show you how bad her condition and thinking is now. And I’m not trying to say don’t blame her but people suffering with such retardation don’t get over it till they are older or even never, she is just 21 the age where you are most rebellious and think you’re a “big girl” .
Most importantly at this time and moment when she needs your prayer or well wishes the most all you can do is judge and type away, lol you need to leave that to God.

“For the dead”? She hadn’t been confirmed dead! Don’t be too fast, and watch what you type, you also need comprehension skills. She’s been “taken off life support” doesn’t mean she’s dead. You guys are way too quick.

I just don’t get why people are saying it’s the fathers fault. He has been through a lot, and I blame the mother. And people saying this is how Bobby Brown will inherit all the money are just premature. They make it sound like he planned the whole thing. You can’t look over your kids 24/7, and sometimes, you just have to trust them to make the right decisions, especially a 21 year old. I pray God gives Bobby the heart to bear this loss.

  21. Garfunkel

    February 5, 2015 at 8:49 pm

Why do we always feel the need to judge and put the blame on somebody? Regardless of her or her parents’ mistakes and indiscretions, this is still a tragic situation. The best we as fellow humans can do is to pray for the family and ask for grace to bear the losses. Blaming or judging isn’t going to change what has already happened.

Honestly, I feel sad for her family.
    This is Tragic!

This is where I would say to “Celebrities”, let your children grow “normally”. Do not bring them into limelight… into your “starlight” so hurriedly. Shield them as much as possible!.
I give thumbs up to all artists/ “celebrities” that have it going well externally (to the “world”) and internally (behind doors…ie shielding their family. I appreciate the artists who create a line between work and the home front.
The fact that you made a choice about your life – ‘Stardom”, does not imply your children might or will want to. Infact to me, it is a form of Child Abuse when you do so.
So let them grow and mingle normally till they have established theirs thoughts, ways and decisions as to how they want their lives to be.

Sad, sad, sad…..chai. This is a perfect example of why one should deal with his or her demons early before it gets too late. Bobbi Kristina is just too young for all these but again, she should have known better.

Also, why do I feel she would have fared better if she was living with or much closer to her dad? He’s been able to beat the addiction and been clean for some years now. I think the media has painted Bobby Brown much worse than he really is, the guy has been through a lot.

  26. Concerned_Boyfriend

    February 5, 2015 at 9:26 pm

If Bobbi Kristina was Nigerian, my people would say it’s the witches and wizards in her family that pushed her to her death. And rightfully so, there’s definitely a spiritual hold on her and to assert that it was inherited from her parent(s) won’t be far-fetched. This is a spiritually warfare and Bobby better start seeking spiritual help.

The saying is “as you make your bed so you lie on it”………………… parent should go through this, the guilt and all that comes with it is immeasurable………..with that being said, B.B will never get over the guilt, shame, bad choices and decisions, his conscience will forever bother him…………….one can only wish others will learn from this unhealthy experience……………..our wonderful Nigerian artist and entertainers, please take note.

My heart goes out to her grandmother more than anyone. Lost her daughter and then shut out o her granddaughter’s life because she didn’t support her choices.
    And now this!!!!
Not even some consolation in seeing her granddaughter have a full and good life even if she couldn’t see her daughter do so.

I don’t know her personally. She ain’t my sister, my wife, cousin, niece or in any way related to me. So personally i really don’t care about someone i don’t know. But if my mom died & left me a fortune, the last thing i’d do is want to kill myself and be doing drugs. I really don’t care if its bobbi, bovi, boobie kristina or whatever, she didn’t impact my world or the rest of the world in any way. Go figure.

Irrespective of ones’ status in life,a parent is a parent. It is the parents responsibility to bring up their children properly, shielding them from whatever bad/negative habits they may have imbibed or practice. This poor girl was brought up under one of the the most base conditions ever. Hence I believe if she knew better she would have done better. Both her parents failed woefully in bringing up this child. That they were blessed (and still are) with money didn’t mean they should run mad living as they pleased. It also goes further to prove, without a shadow of doubt that whatever we sow,we certainly will reap,it’s always a matter of time. See how the recklessness and bad choices of a legend (Whitney Houston) cost her not only her life, but her lineage also. Tragic is an understatement!!! As she’s taken off the life support. May the good Lord grant her eternal rest and peace. Too,too, sad.

I was rooting for this girl but if this was a suicide attempt, then let God’s will be done in a way that gives her peace.

    February 6, 2015 at 3:33 am

When I first heard about this, my first thought was that she had tried to commit suicide out of grief for her mother and she did it the way her mother died because that had meaning for her. But then they are not saying for sure this is an attempted suicide. so what else could it be? murder? that seems unlikely, an accident, also seems unlikely. in any case, very sad. this girl was really young and I do think that although people are responsible for themselves as adults, the past and our upbringing has an enormous impact on our lives and future decisions. I don’t blame her if she was in too much pain and she tried to end it but someone should have been there for her more fully… why is that so hard for people to do for each other?
