Buhari should shut his old mouth up from the uk abeg,i can’t imagine Obama campaigning for an election in america from another country.very dumb if I may say.

      March 3, 2015 at 1:22 pm

Pointless! .Obama had an international tour of Europe and Middle East as a presidential candidate. Buhari’s visit to the UK is a very smart move. You plan ahead and strengthen ties with the international community that has lost hope in your country. You reach out to Nigerians in the diaspora and give them hope of a better home to return too. Common sense!

    • Sandi

      March 3, 2015 at 2:13 pm

In all fairness the International world has not lost hope in Nigeria. Nigerians have lost hope in Nigeria. If the International community has lost hope, they won’t be setting shop here. Mexicans are farming in Enugu and exporting Pineapple, Chinese are also here in Construction and Real Estate Sector. The list goes on. So while we may think we look so bad to the world, investors over the past four years have increased.

“You reach out to Nigerians in the diaspora…”
      But they can’t vote tho
US expats can so it makes sense for Obama.

    • Bobo

      March 3, 2015 at 7:32 pm

@Becca, i think you missed the point. Yes they can’t vote but they are still Nigerians and those that can vote recognize that he is making an attempt to boost his foreign policy credentials, same thing Obama did. Obama went on tour to meet other foreign leaders, and not to campaign for US expat votes. However, the move made improved his rating

If your claim that APC is really behind the fuel scarcity is true, then it further supports the argument that this current administration is CLUELESS Or how else does one explain that the PDP seem to suggest that the opposition is behind everything wrong with Nigeria.

Also, I think the APC should consider documenting a story on Asari and Tompolo ( our co-presidents) who have made billions of dollars from this administration. Asari uses a presidential plate number, still yet, disclaimed Nigerian Citizenship and have gone on to build his University outside of Nigeria.( the least he could have done was to invest in Nigeria)

@chukewukadiba this isn’t just about the PVC. Foreign Investors don’t watch AIT or NTA. We need to make a conscious effort to put Nigeria on the world stage (positively).. So I do think Buharis interviews on Aljazera / CNN / Chatham house is a plus for Nigeria. But hey what do I know 🙂

Preach it Sir!! And you all complaining about his location,is he the president of Nigeria? For the past 2months he toured the whole states campaigning so what is it you guys want? Besides his VP Prof. Yemi is seriously holding campaign sessions do well to participate. I think that matters alot ( oh I forgot you people said he signed an oath to resign after six months.)Abegi..The main thing is for the message to be passed across and not the location of the vessel. His was in London and you listened to his speech. To me that’s the ultimate.

Fuel scarcity was worst under OBJ so this una (APC) last minute propaganda will not work. BTW, I think you should go and watch the documentary on TINUBU before you open your mouth. Saibuhari.

    March 3, 2015 at 1:49 pm

The second time in 6 hyears kee? Are you sure you live in Nigeria….If you don’t know the reason for the scarcity let me enlighten you…. The steady devaluation of the Naira to the Dollar which is the currency oil marketers use to purchase PMS, the amount of subsidy the government has to pay to them has risen and government is yet to pay them the money owed (since december) due to the forex changes. In reality due to the drop in naira value fuel should be sold at about N112-N114. The marketers have refused to supply PMS without being paid what is owed to them……In other news the government is looking for how to pay them but not to seriously as most of the government’s funds are currently tied up in GEJ’s campaign which involves dashing out millions of dollars to all and sundry in his desperate bid to win the upcoming elections, while civil servants have not been paid in months and companies are laying off left, right and centre due to rising operational costs influenced by the dollar rates, import duties, horrible power supply…..hmmmmm…

    • Nahum

      March 3, 2015 at 2:15 pm

See what I sad, incredulous lies. 2nd time in 6 years ke…when WE ALL KNOW that is a bloody lie. Kai, make una Gejites fear God with your lies o

@ ada nnewi There you go again, derailing from your aguement initially started.
Jonathan sharing money to win election-

Please help me with who pays the bill for Buhari and APC crew London trip?

Is the monies from his 1.miliion naira never finishing balance?or Amechi loots from River state? or Lagos tax payers moneys looted by Tinubu.or is it the monies donated by innocent Nigerians for their campaign?????

Please remove the plank in your eyes first. Not supporting sharing of monies but certainly cant tolerate squandering our monies in London by APC cronies

On December salary please watch his interview by Mo Abudu where he apologised for Dec salaries and explained that server shut out the administrators.

      March 3, 2015 at 2:55 pm

Nene, get your head outta your a*s, MONEY SHARED is different from MONEY RAISED/DONATED FOR CAMPAIGN. It’s no secret that GEJ has shared nothing less then $20million to different sectors and individuals, excluding his campaign budget, logistics and miscellaneous, btw all pdp states donated to his campaign, so what’s your point?. GEJ has milked the country dry. It is a shame that governance has degenerated so badly under him, and pdp’s corruption bug has eaten so deep, ppl don’t even bother to reason critically. GEJ has tampered with a lot of things, it’s worrisome to imagine him spending another 4 years.

You couldn’t even defend or challenge her point about the source of fuel scarcity, but in the usual fashion of no brain having GEJITES, always finding ways to leave important issues, y’all learned from the best.

But this did not start now. Buhari what did you do right when you could? Now social media account managers that don’t even know the year of Nigeria’s amalgamation are preaching.
This guy inherited so much past failures. OBJ had 2 terms and there was fuel scarcity most times. Now it’s GEJ that brought it.
I just wish we had a better candidate than these two.

    Nigerians are truly foolish!

Someone made a statement and yet some people spend their time talking without providing superior argument …How can my Mum sell Bread and yet Bread is scare in my House? I am buying bread from my Neighbor….that is the real story with the Nigeria story…

The Naira is been devalued and the US Dollar is the currency used for International Trade…It doesn’t make sense to keep importing when you cant even control your cost…Bottom line: You cannot deregulate in an import-driven economy. No other way – aside for fixing the Refineries – is possible no matter how we pray and fast…

The foolish Govt, inept in ideas blames the Opposition..it was at that point I almost lost hope in the Nigerian state? Really? Please remember, NNPC is also short on fuel…so, the Oppostion also controls the NNPC Mega Stations..Please, spare me! #IamTired

If you do not live in Gwoza, Mubi, Chibok, Maduguri, Potiskum and still shout GEJ2015 from London or Carlifornia…then, you are the real enemy of the sate!

    Seriously!

A month to the election and none of the candidates have presented a substantial platform on any issue. Its all general things like ‘stop corruption’, ‘end boko haram’. Nobody wants to know how they plan to do it.

Nigerians deserve the govt they get, another 4 yrs of the looting of whatever the country has left. By the time we smarten up about the real challenges we have, they’ll be no resources to pay for it.

We need to do better in this country for the sake of our children
