When i see all these muslim brides, one thing comes to my mind: the so-called christian repentant sisters have lost it. Totally. Look at these brides. Covered, simple, minimal make-up, natural for some , yet glowing ,gorgeous, with a royal air. It is laughable that MOST of these modern “born again”ladies have bought into the silly notion that rainbow make-up, floor-sweeping fake hair or “exposing”types of clothes makes them appear beautiful. No, ladies, u look like ratchet christmas trees. Ah, what do i know? “Faith is in the heart, only God can judge, the Bible says not to judge” .
Happy married life to these two young people.
Me i just see another muslim bride who hasn’t disappointed…once again.
Keep on winning, muslim ladies!!!! I love u.

      Thank you
      It is shameful my dear
Like i will always tell them Kate Middleton didnt expose her body because she is a royalty
My dear sistas will not see that to copy na beyonce and Kim they will be copying
See this lady do u need a prophet to know she is royalty….

The number of likes my comments got me speak for themselves. Check yours. GAME OVER!
Poor pained christian ladies….see them all jittery here. The faith u claim is in your heart is supposed to keep u calm. If u feel what u do is so right because the faith in your heart tells u so, why u so butt hurt? Plus, the grace of God overlooks all things naaah.

And please, since u desperately want me to shut up, FYI this is not your papa’s blog. Don’t ask anyone here to shut up. Idoma girl, NEVER, EVER, reply my comment(s), even when u agree with me , ok?
Most of u ought to know by now that i’m not the type to be bullied.

Whatever abeg. I’m so over this ‘look at how Christian brides aren’t covered up’ epistle. If you don’t want to see, close your eyes. Your wedding is typically more about the culture you grew up in (and I don’t mean Igbo or Itsekiri and such). Now it is okay to show some shoulder or cleavage because on a regular day we do not wear turtlenecks and cover our hair. For Muslims their religion and cultural environment are closely linked so they will reflect that. Ah ahn! Are those scarves around the shoulders and hideous boleros Nigerian brides are forced to wear to church not enough?

      April 6, 2015 at 10:37 pm

World people, take a chill pill please, each to their own. If a bride decides to wear a see-through wedding dress then that’s her choice, if she decides to cover up that’s her choice too. When it’s your turn you can decide to wear a turtle neck wedding dress.

      April 7, 2015 at 12:35 pm

Looool you sound upset. A woman’s dress on her wedding day is a reflection of herself and her “culture” if you will. Take this hollering and sit down somewhere. Oh, and befitting name I must add.

Una know say I no dey enter una side, but they are absolutely beaurriiful. Both the groom and bride. And I was shocked, cause most of the Northern brides I’ve been seeing on BN have been a particular shade of light, so I was surprised to see a different tone.

They both look young though, and beautiful nonetheless. I love that pic of them in the car, SHE’s driving!!! The symbolism tho :DDDD Something about them just makes me love them. I wish them happiness.

I recently broke up with my boyfriend. Seeing these pictures just started a wave of tears again.

I don’t mean to be a joy killer. I pray God blesses the couple’s Union and make it a lasting and fulfilling one.

To those of us out there still searching, I pray we find partners that will love us and show us the true meaning of love.

Riff Raff, you are talking about 9aija babes, they get their own oh, but African American ones nko? Come and see them in action with kids from different baby mothers and fathers assembled in a “one big happy family” and to top it off they will have a white wedding to celebrate their ill-fated union after living together for many years. Madness in action. Then they wonder why their marriages don’t last. It didn’t even stand a chance. Many of them are just too dumb to know it. Christianity is now an inherited or default religion. You’re not Muslim, so you’re Christian. When people like BeyoncĂ© can strut around practically naked on stage and say she’s a Christian what do you expect? Like the saying goes, It is what is covered that has value. We Christians have allowed the Western world to corrupt us and Christianity of these days is so watered down that it is so ineffective. “Faith is in the heart, only God can judge, the Bible says not to judge,” but the same bible tells us not to cause our brothers to sin (lust after us) and if something causes us to sin we should remove it. So, we must be very careful of all these “new age” Christianity where we are taught everything is about the heart, because it isn’t….

Heartbroken, pls be comforted. Take solace in the fact that maybe he wasn’t meant for you. A broken relationship is a million times better than a broken marriage. May the bone of your bone who will love, cherish and adore you find you real soon in Jesus name.

Eh eh…hol it there all of you….Christianity is another man’s tradition imposed upon us. Na so some of us don carry the thing like say na we invent am. Most tribes in Southern Nigerian have almost naked traditional outfits, check out the ibo trad, one wrapper around the chest, and another mini wrapper for skirt…..haba make una no dey behave like say all our ancestors who predate the advent of Christianity in Nigeria, are languishing in hell, for wearing two pieces of cloth, even fulani dem sef, that thing them dey wear go fetch water, wetin you wan call am. Even the white wedding gown is a borrowed culture (google it)

P.s; Abeg, make una no vex for my pidgin, na the onli grammar i sabi, wey every naija ear dey quick grab.

@naijapickin, thank you! A number of people forget that both Christianity and Islam were forced on Africans. How can one say Christianity has been Westernised, when the bibles they buy so readily depicts a blonde, blue eyed Jesus. You don’t get more Western!
Left to the Africans, old women wouldn’t restrict their blood supply with Spanx and padded bras. They would let it hang out, like my late grandmother did, much to my shock and dislike (I was young). The South African female cultural dancers often displayed their talents with juggling breasts because it was their culture. No baby in the world is born with curtains so, it is daft to keep complaining that people who do so have better morals. It is am baseless argument that ignorant people make, often to launch verbal, physical, mental attacks on others. If a bride wishes to have a beach wedding and wears a bikini, I would not lose any sleep. @Joke, stop judging American women, you have no clue how easy it is to marry and divorce under Sharia law. If you were raised in the North like I was, you will be shocked about what goes on in those marriages, however wrapped the bride was. Let us just say DNA tests will not be welcomed.

@RiffRaff, you read as though you are angry with Christian women. But, understanding what exactly you are angry at, apart from the cut of their weddings dresses might in your best interest. Seems a terrible waste of emotions as you are powerless over what others wish to wear. We are not communists so why all this? Anger/conflict management and civility classes might be helpful. Might help find closure.
