Jeez I was about to type thesame thing! When Nigerians come to an online space where they are supposed to feel at home, we will be hearing about spring and summer again. I live in the UK and I’ve heard enough about spring please

    • lola

      April 29, 2015 at 3:04 pm

whats the distraction??? just because we dont use the term spring doesn’t mean one can’t still style themselves according to it.

    • Amy

      April 29, 2015 at 5:13 pm

This is being showcased in Nigeria. The 5 women are in Nigeria. Nigerians, respect yourselves and use appropriate terms accordingly. What is spring/summer? When will we get rid of these complex issues and low self-esteem we always exhibit? Yes, it is a complex problem and it has only started with this generation. The generations before schooled, lived and visited abroad but did not resort to these inappropriate copy copy. What is wrong with saying “so and so share their style”. No amount of explanation can make this ridiculousness right. It’s only in Nigeria that everything is copied willy-nilly.

    April 29, 2015 at 4:08 pm

Ask the northerners and they will definitely let you know there is spring in naija. After dealing with serious cold in Dec timeframe. Remember it used to rain hailstone is Jos

    • Amy

      April 29, 2015 at 5:19 pm

So it’s winter cold in the North? And hailstone equates winter? Alright, I give up. Justifying rubbish.

    April 29, 2015 at 6:28 pm

Ms Amy and the rest of u complaining, why don’t u give them examples of appropriate terms to use!!!!!! Complainers with no solution….and pls don’t come up with that reched hamatan term! Nigerians will always complain but never bring ideas..

    • Nuna

      April 29, 2015 at 8:50 pm

First of all, learn how to spell. Since they are looking for seasons to use, why don’t they stick to the ones that are typical in Nigeria?

  18. Myne Whitman

    April 29, 2015 at 7:53 pm

    I also think the temperate seasons for Nigerian fashion sounds wrong. For options, here are my suggestions;
    – Fresh
    – Dry
    – Wet
    – Hot
    – Cold
    – Cool
    – Heat
    – Harmattan
    – Rain
    – Wind
There’s 10 up there, pick your choose 🙂

This is lunacy at it’s height!!! Can we for once do something that reflects us, our culture, our heritage and all that reflects us- Spring in Nigeria? absolute rubbish!!
