Not a fan of dramatic bridal makeup, looks so vulgar and clashes harshly with the essence of a white dress. You’ll hardly ever see such dolled up faces in bridal look books for good reason. Natural palette for the white dress and save the dramatic & bold colours for traditional.

When you are darker – skinned, sometimes a bit of colour helps the bridal look. Remember that the models used in most established bridal look books are Caucasian. Besides, some people will argue that with all the colour going on in our typical trad outfits, there’s a case for keeping the makeup toned down when wearing trad. I guess it all boils down to personal preference.

ahaan ahaan @Becca please calm down!!! which one is vulgar and clashes harshly with the essence of white dress. its just makeup moreover the makeup is absolutely on fleek! by the way the dramatic makeup was done well….. some bride to be want natural while some want dramatic (in your own word)..

But why are you saying calm down? Her comment is very legit, honest and she said it in a calm and respectful manner. There’s nothing not calm about her comment. You on the other hand need to calm down and relax.

So true!!! Her comment was legit. I mean it comes down to taste. But I do agree that having a settle and nude makeup is best for weddings. The dress should do the talking.

All Beautiful. Not shouty makeup. The hairstyles are just dope. There is nothing dramatic or vulgar about these looks. Even the non- cliché look is well balanced out with the eyse that don’t have colours. If these are dramatic, omo no even use make up. Maybe you’ve not seen people who use green or blue eye shadow with red lipstick on their wedding day.
Anyway, I love them all, but my least favorite is the 3rd one.

They are all lovely. But why are women of African descent with hair in their natural state not represented. Shameful.
