Remember, the more cakey your makeup is, the more beautiful it is in Nigeria. I’m yet to understand how practical it is to wear such in a humid weather or how they survive.

You’re very silly. Many people in many parts of the world have cakey make -up, not just Nigeria. Not sure where some of you get your stupid analysis. Just cause a certain number of people do/like something a particular way, doesn’t mean you can speak for an entire nation, and generalize mindlessly.
As if people in hotter climates don’t use make-up. Take several seats.

Who did her makeup sef? ok, I don’t get it, a woman wears makeup to look appealing but then covers up pretty much all of her body. Should I say counterintuitive, don’t make sense to me..

You’re not making sense, and you never had. From the lousy comments you made on th Fani-Kayode post, one can easily tell you’re an airhead. So because she used make-up to be more “appealing”, she should now be revealing and not cover her body? You’re so “smart”.

Whoever did her makeup should take time o! This beautiful and fresh woman’s face looking heavily made up. We will unseat this makeup artist very soon. Am so so happy today. Nigeria is not an easy country to govern but with God its possible. Wish the new First Lady all the best. Make us proud.

Way too much makeup. Her beauty is masked by the makeup. Less is always more!

I agreed its either the photographer did a horrible job or the make up artist! One of them messed this up!! She looks way better than this.

    • silly jade

      May 29, 2015 at 10:16 pm

@jade you are so silly! Why must you compare both women? Are they age mates anyways? Is Aisha her husband s first wife? Isnt oshomole now married to a pretty woman? Jonathan can attract any type of queen he wants but chose to honour God and you are here talking you silly nuisance!!!

I wish all I could see is the make up and follow the crowd in making comments, as for me, I look beyond make up to power. Don’t ever want to be a small or ordinary woman. No matter what anyone says, she is the first lady and all she does will begin to matter from now even if she has no make up on. That’s the kind of person I want to be. Some will be stars, others will remain spectators. Don’t want to be the latter. God help me.

  12. Okay...

    May 30, 2015 at 1:48 am

Whoever did this makeup must have voted for Jonathan. Mrs. Buhari is much prettier than this.

The photographer doesn’t have any imagination. Is this the best he can do? Where is the celebrity female photographer that takes all the important portraits? A bah! See placement of flag o!

I couldn’t agree more. I keep saying it, George Okoro is not very good at capturing portrait or people, He never captures those intimate and/or candid moments. He has photographed our first lady without capturing the essence of her. Sigh.

I can’t believe FATI of Mamza Beauty whose jobs are always exceptional, did that make up. It’s too heavy! The red on her lips is not cool at all. Red could have been used on her but it would look better if the red was a deep red; Like maroon colour!

What does she need a portrait for??? Thought no office of the first lady for Buhari’s administration.

I thought so too! See her already digging her claws into her fortune seat. She seems like an over sabi not even the good kind. First Ladies like Dame Patience, Turai Yaradua and the late Stella obasanjo waited a bit in office before we started hearing of them. Madam up there was already making statements during campaign season. Give it a ready Aunty.

Did you see how she almost signed with Buhari at the inauguration? If noto say constitution dey clear on who is being sworn in, she for sign too. Compared to OSinbajo’s wife who maintained and looked regal all thru.

Ahan, I have said before and I’ll say it again, if you judge only by the way people comment here, it gives little hope for the intellectual future of this country.
Can’t y’all see that her face looks like that more from photographic effect (Photoshop) then than make up? She had this same look and outfit for the inauguration and there was a difference.

I am a bit upset about the makeup particularly the eye shadow. Because the right eye’s eyeshadow is initially brighter than the left, it makes one eye look bigger than the other. *sigh* Gorgeous first lady.

No! No!! No!!! This nation cannot stand this great evil the second time ever again. The level of abuse that this so called first lady as illegal as it were during the inert government of the baby – Jonathan was extremely offensive to the psych of well meaning Nigerians. Buhari should save our country from a repeat of such mess by treating the office for what it is, illegal, an aberration and a ruse (deciet) after all the Presidency is not a joint ticket. Our President must not yield to pressure and must not defeat the expectations of all Nigerians so early.
